The week and half after the Quidditch Cup was the most stressful week of Scorpius and Rose's entire 7 years at Hogwarts. Every minute of free time was spent studying for the huge N.E.W.T exams coming up next week. It didn't even feel like the stress of Quidditch was gone because instead of going to practice everyday, Scorpius and Rose would re-read or re-write every textbook they owned. If they didn't pass these examinations, it would be very hard to get a job. Really, Scorpius and Rose could do any career they wanted because they had such high grades. They could have been Aurors or Healers, but, they wanted to go a different route. Both Rose and Scorpius wanted to apply for jobs at The Daily Prophet. Scorpius wanted to take the job as the editor of the Astronomy Column. Astronomy was Scorpius's absolute favorite subject, and he loved to read and write. It would be the perfect career for him. He didn't think he could handle the stress of being an Auror or Healer. Rose's career thoughts were actually pretty similar to Scorpius's. She didn't think she could handle that level of stress either, so, instead of doing those tasks, she wanted to report them to the public by being a reporter for The Daily Prophet. She loved to read and write, and, she thought this career path would be perfect for herself.

But, even though Scorpius and Rose weren't shooting for a career where you would have to have pretty high N.E.W.T marks, (even though they would get probably the highest scores in their year), they still made sure that they would study their arses off. Sometimes, it surprised Rose that her father was once an Auror. But, then again, he didn't have to take his N.E.W.T's for obvious reasons. Now a days, it was extremely hard to get into the Auror program. Nothing that Rose couldn't handle, but, she just didn't think that was the career for herself. She gave her Uncle Harry so much credit. As Head Auror, his job was the most stressful.

Anyways, the week leading up to N.E.W.T's was mostly spent in the library for the both of them. They decided to study in the library instead of the Common Room, because Albus decided to join their study sessions. Albus was pretty much taking the same classes as Scorpius and Rose, but, of course, Rose and Scorpius were taking more. Kind of like Scorpius and Rose, Albus was shooting for a career path that no one expected of him. Albus wanted to become and Auror. Well, not a regular Auror. He wanted to become a Potions Specialist. A Potions Specialist was an Auror that would specialize in different potions. Like, let's say that one of the regular Aurors came across a mysterious, unidentified potion on a mission. Albus would be the one who would have to classify and identify it. This position technically was still considered an Auror position. So, he needed to really study his arse off to get the N.E.W.T scores that qualify him for this position. And, by joking Scorpius and Rose's intense sessions, he thought that would help.

"I wonder how Hugh, Line, and Lily are doing? Like, how are they studying, you know?" Albus said, interrupting the silence that was cause by reading and note taking. Albus was referring to Hugo, Caroline, and Lily, because they also had their big exams coming up. The good ol' classic 5th Year O.W.L's. Scorpius, Rose, and Albus could remember their O.W.L's like it was yesterday.

"Well, it's hard to tell with Hugh. He could either studying his arse off like us, or, he could be off distracted somewhere. You will just never know with him." Rose responded, while continuing to look down at her parchment to take notes from the open Charms textbook in front of her.

"You do have a point. I'm just curious because I haven't been able to talk to Caroline at all this week. I assume they are all studying pretty hard." Albus said back. He wasn't exactly good at studying with complete silence. He was used to studying in the Slytherin Common Room, which was never exactly quiet. Rose was getting a little irritated with Albus's interruptions, but she didn't show it. She knew he meant well. It wasn't exactly in his nature to be silent all the time.
