(Quick Author's Note before we start, since I'm American, I really didn't know the true definition of snogg until yesterday. So apparently, there is a difference between kiss and snogg. Now that I know this, I'm going to use the word a little more carefully. I just needed to make that clear. On with the Scorose!😀)

Holiday break went by. It was now the New Year. Like every year, the Potter's had their signature New Year's party. Instead of James snogging Alejandra's face off like he usually did on New Year's, it was a different couple this year that filled that spot. When midnight came, it was Albus and Caroline who fulfilled that. Rose laughed as she watched James sit in a chair and jealously watch his brother kiss his girlfriend. James still wasn't over Alejandra. Anyways, New Year's went at it usually did, and it was almost time to go back to school.

Rose and Scorpius wrote to each other daily. Thanking each other every letter for their gifts. Rose rarely took off her new Scorpius constellation shaped bracelet. And then, Scorpius couldn't stop staring at the enchanted picture frame that Rose made for him. Pretty much every night before he went to bed, he would go through them all and admire the memories with his girlfriend.

Scorpius couldn't wait for the day that he would go back to school. Mostly because of Rose. Even though it had only been a few weeks, he missed his red-headed, deep blue eyed, freckle faced, girlfriend. Writing really wasn't the same as talking face to face. What was really killing him, was how Rose's confession went to her dad. He desperately wanted to know, she hadn't said anything about it in her letters. Did her dad already hate him? Was he okay with it? All Scorpius knew was he really wanted to get back to school so he could talk with Rose about it.

A few days later, Scorpius woke up early to throw his belongings in his trunk. One of those items was the enchanted frame that Rose gave to him. There was no way he could leave that home. He would probably set it on his bedside table back up at school. Today everybody had to go back to King's Cross to get on the train back to school. More importantly, he would see Rose again today. He had so many questions he wanted to ask her in person.

But for now, he quickly packed up his trunk, owl, and new broom. He scarfed his breakfast down fast, and patiently waited to go.

At Rose's house, she did similar things. She got up, got ready, packed up her trunk, Crookshanks II, and her broom, and went down and ate breakfast. She couldn't wait to see her tall, pale, silver eyed, platinum blond headed, boyfriend. What made her the most excited, was that she didn't have to hide her relationship anymore! She could just go run up to him and greet him. She wouldn't have a care in the world on who saw.

Rose went downstairs with a very happy look on her face. It was very hide for her to hide her smile. She felt she could do anything. Now that her confession was out, she felt like she was a million times lighter.

"What are you so happy about?" Hugo asked as he shoveled toast and eggs in his mouth.

"It's juts a wonderful day my dear brother. Good morning everyone." Rose said to Hugo, and to her mum and dad, as she poured herself a bowl of Cheeri-Owls. Hermione had a pretty good general idea on what Rose was so happy about. She smiled at her daughter. Hermione also noticed how cheery Rose was lately. She could tell that her daughter was relieved to get her secret off her chest. Hugo rolled his eyes at Rose's response. He too knew what she was so happy about.

Rose sat down at the table with the rest of her family, and continued to wear the same happy expression on her face. She just couldn't wait to Scorpius in person. She was going to thank him over and over again for the bracelet. But, there was something else she needed to tell him. She really did never write to him about her father's reaction. For all he knew, she told him and it went well. She really needed to tell him every detail.
