Quick A/N: Okay, so this chapter is all about Albus, not much Scorose. Don't worry, that's only for this chapter. Trust me, you'll still like it. Scorose will pick up in the next chapter. This part is essential for the plot, and I think you guys will enjoy it. Anyways, let's get on with the story!

The day after Albus arrived home from King's Cross Station, he woke up to the smell of his sister's cinnamon rolls. Lily was very good at baking cinnamon rolls. Al immediately rolled out of bed after he smelled this. He trudged down the stairs to find his mum and dad sitting at the table sipping tea, and his younger sister pulling out a dozen cinnamon rolls out of the oven.

"Good morning." Ginny said as she watched her emerald-eyed son come down the stairs.

"Morning. I smell cinnamon rolls!" Albus said as he beelined towards the kitchen.

"Ah ah ah! Not yet! I still have to put the glaze on!" Lily said as she forced the baking sheet the other way, trying to stop her brother from grabbing one.

"Fine." Albus said as he sat down next to his mum.

"How did you sleep?" Ginny asked.

"Good. I was gladly woken up to the scent of cinnamon." Albus replied as Wigdon, the Potter's owl came flying through the window with the mail. Harry took the envelopes from the black owl, and flipped through them.

"Oh, what's this?" Harry asked as he lifted an envelope, and set the rest down on the table.

"What?" Ginny asked in curiosity.

"It's a letter from McGonagall. It's to early for letters and O.W.L. & N.E.W.T. Scores. I wonder what it could be?" Harry said as he took the envelope into his hands and ripped it open.

"Read it out loud." Ginny said.

"Okay, well, here it goes." Harry said as he began to read the letter out loud;

"Dear Mr. Potter,

I know this is very short notice, but I have a huge favor to ask you. I have a transfer student from Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in America, who plans to attend Hogwarts in the fall. She is the same age as your daughter Lily, and she needs a host family to stay with over the holidays until she's of age. She had a host family booked, but they canceled, and she desperately needs a place to stay. She is supposed to arrive in England today. I know this is a huge task for you, but could you please give her a place to stay. She would attend school in the fall like the rest, and she would already have her robes and supplies. If you could please write back as soon as you could with your response, that would be great.

Sincerely,

Minerva McGonagall
Headmistress of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry." Harry read to the room.

"Wow." Harry said after he finished reading.

"Well, what are we going to do? She needs a place to stay." Ginny said after listening to Harry read the letter.

"We'll have to host her. I mean, it's not that big of a deal. It would be only over the holidays, and she could just stay with Lily. I couldn't imagine going to a foreign country and not having a place to stay." Harry said to his wife.

"Well, I guess we will have a guest for a bit." Ginny replied.

"Great. I should probably write back. I'll be down in a bit." Harry said as he went upstairs to his study to write a reply to McGonagall.

Professor McGonagall,

Ginny and I would be happy to host this new student. She can stay with Lily. Just let us know what time we can come and get her.
