Like Rose and every other student, Scorpius was home for the short Easter break. Today was Easter, and he wondered what Rose was doing. He knew that she was probably at The Burrow with all of her big family enjoying this holiday, but, it still gave him curiosity. While he was thinking this, him and Draco were enjoying an Easter meal, made by the paid house elves, at the fancy dinner table. But, Scorpius's thoughts were interrupted by Draco saying something, that Scorpius wasn't necessarily listening to.

"I'm sorry, what was that?" Scorpius asked.

"Oh, um, I was wondering a few things." Draco started off, and his facial expression looked like there was more to his comment.

"Like what?" Scorpius continued to ask. He was curious to what his father wanted to know.

"Oh, well, to start off with, what's your plan after you graduate from school? Like, what job are you planning on applying for? Are you going to stay here for a little bit, or get your own place?" Draco asked. These questions hit Scorpius hard. He really hadn't gave much thought to these certain topics because all that was on his mind lately was Quidditch and N.E.W.T's. But, this was something that needed to be addressed. He supposed it would be better to talk about it now than later.

"Honestly, I really haven't given much thought to that topic. I mean, sure I do know a few things." Scorpius started off.

"What things?" Draco asked, eager to know more.

"Well, I suppose career wise, I would like to apply at the Daily Prophet, and work as a writer for the Astronomy column. But, I guess my living situation depends on what Rose wants to do. I mean, I would like to get a flat with her, but, I actually haven't ran by that with her yet. I know she wants to apply at The Prophet also, but as a reporter." Scorpius answered very truthfully. He knew that both him and Rose were shooting for jobs at The Daily Prophet after school. He figured it would be best if they got their own place together, but, he had no idea what Rose would think about that idea. I mean, they were technically both still teenagers. Was it all moving to fast? Or, would Rose love the idea? All Scorpius knew was that he and Rose weren't separating any time soon.

"Can I show you something?" Draco asked, and confused Scorpius, by completely changing the subject.

"Sure, I guess?" Scorpius said, still wondering why Draco changed the subject.

What even made Scorpius more curious, was that, Draco immediately got up from his seat, and looked like he headed upstairs to grab something. Scorpius wondered what was up his sleeve. Draco had really never asked Scorpius about these kinds of things before. When Draco came back, it looked like he didn't even grab anything, until Scorpius noticed that he placed a teeny tiny little box on the table.

"Is that...?" Scorpius started off.

"Mum's ring." Both Scorpius and Draco said at the same time. Scorpius wondered what the heck Draco was doing with his mum's old engagement ring. Then, a shock of realization hit him, like getting run over by the Knight Bus.

When Draco grabbed Astoria's ring out of his dresser drawer, a bunch of memories flooded his head. But, he knew that Astoria was gone, and that this ring should have a knew life, rather then sitting in a drawer, collecting dust. Draco also knew that Scorpius loved Rose very much. School was coming to a close for both of them, and he wondered what was going to be their next step as a couple. He knew that they were both of age. He just thought he'd give Scorpius a little push.

"Scorpius, you and Rose are now both of age. I know that you don't plan on splitting any time soon. And, once school is done, that's the time to take the next step in your life. You two are perfect for one another. So, if you want, and you don't want to wait, if you want to propose to Rose, you can have mum's ring. I know that she would of loved Rose to have it." Draco explained, and then flicked open the tiny box, revealing a huge diamond ring, with emeralds on the side, and slid it towards Scorpius to look at. Scorpius took and observed the ring fully. Like everything Draco bought, it was very extravagant and glamorous. I mean, his father did have a point. Him and Rose were always head over heals for each other, and Scorpius didn't think that they would split any time soon. Scorpius really couldn't see himself with anyone else's except Rose. There was multiple signs from the universe that supported this. The one time in Divination, Rose catching the bouquet at Teddy and Victorie's wedding. Maybe this was the right route to go. Scorpius surely wanted to do it, but he wasn't completely sure Rose would want to.
