Thanksgiving came and went, and Cassidy was ready for the holidays to be over. As grateful as she was for Austin and his family to make her and Brandon feel right at home during the holidays, it didn't make the pain of not having her own family to visit go away.
Austin, Cassidy and Brandon flew into Texas to spend Thanksgiving with Austin's parents, at his fathers house. His mother Nicole, and her husband also flew in from New York to spend time with them, and it really warmed Cassidy's heart every time he had his entire family together.
This was the first time they met Brandon, and they treated him like their own son. Brandon fit right in with the Post family.
They showed the engagement ring off to his family and Cassidy could have cried at the amount of love and support they received. They still decided to hold off on telling the public, and decided they would wait until after the holiday season.
Brandon and Lea we're officially together, and now that they were back from Texas, Lea had been over almost daily. Cassidy was grateful she was able to come over and hangout without looking at Brandon or Austin any differently. She was such a sweet girl and Cassidy felt she was a great fit for her brother.
Cassidy's job search was also officially over. Her and Austin found the perfect location for her bakery, and were already working through the process of getting everything in place. They both had a ton of work to do, as Cassidy insisted that Austin be apart of the process, had he been interested. She already had the name picked out; Sweet Dreams. Things would be moving forward with that slowly but surely and hopefully could open up after the new year!
When they weren't visiting family, Austin was in the studio with Eric, Dre and Bobby daily. His new album was really coming together, but Austin needed to make sure each song was perfect before he would even consider moving on to another one. However, he already had a list of people who would be featured on the new album, and Cassidy was already excited to hear it.

Cassidy was stepping out of the shower as she heard her phone ringing in the bedroom, she quickly wrapped a towel around her frame and made her way to answer the call.
Austin | Cassidy
Hey baby, how's the studio?
It's good! I was just callin to see what you were up to.
I just got out of the shower. So nothing, why what's up?
I might need some proof of that ma'am.
Mmm maybe if you're lucky.
Well, Bobby wants us to come out with him tonight.
Oh, that should be fun! What time? I don't even know what time it is right now.
It's already 9:30. He's DJing at a club downtown with Smitty, his set starts at 11 so he just left. I was gonna come home and change and pick you up if you wanted to go.
Okay! I'll start getting dressed.
I mean, you don't have to-
I'll see you at home babe!
And with that, she ended the call and began to rummage around her closet for something to wear. Luckily it didn't take long for her to settle on a cute and comfortable outfit for the night.
It wasn't long after she was dressed, that Austin came home to find Cassidy doing her makeup in the bathroom.
"Dammn Cass." He teased as he saw her leaning against the sink to apply her mascara. Her butt sticking out slightly in the red skirt she's picked out. Cassidy only chuckled.
"Alex is on his way here now. Eric is gonna drive us."
"Sometimes I like feel bad for a second that he does these things, but then I remember that it's literally his job." Cassidy chuckled as she began to put her makeup away.
Austin was dressed and ready to go just as Cassidy emerged from the bathroom.
"Oh, Ash just texted me, she's going to meet us there." Austin slid his phone into his pocket and stepped in front of his girlfriend.
"Did I tell you how sexy you look tonight?" He leaned down and pressed a kiss to her lips, just as he heard the car horn from out front.
"We better get going lover boy."
