Nyx saw her blood turn rashes of color before her eyes, like a psychedelic kaleidoscope. But with he colors were the music of murmurs. Several voices spoke to her, not in English but in an ancient tongue, yet she understood them. They whispered encouraging thoughts and prayers, they sang to her like true royalty.

Her body was surging with a need to act, like her muscles were fueled with electricity and the potential energy was pulsating within her veins. She screamed again, the icy winds cutting small cuts into her arms and legs as she was shot up above the clouds. She opened her eyes, the feeling of falling acted as if she were flying. She came into contact with the ground, her fist slamming into the ground the Jotuns stood on and a purple mist covered it like a fog. In an instant, the large blue people invading her home fell to the ground. They had all been intoxicated with the poison of the smoke Nyx seemed to possess.

She could feel everyones eyes burning holes into her skin. Her hair was matted with blood and her dress was torn at her legs. She lifted her head, falling into direct eye contact with a pair of shimmering blue eyes of delight. "You're alive" Loki lushly spoke, a sad smile turning at the corners of his mouth.

Nyx simply glared. Her eyes seemed to glow against her pale aesthetic, a purple glow circling her icy blue iris. She got to her feet with determination. "Take your hammer off of him" Nyx instructed.

"You died?!" Thor thundered, his voice a combination of anger and shock.

"No, but I can handle him" she gritted between her teeth, pointing at the god that was nailed to the ground. Thor furrowed his eyebrows but obliged. Thor's mouth opened but just as Mjolnir left Loki's chest, Nyx scrambled to grab him and disappeared without a trace.

The Goddess of Desire raged with magic swimming at her fingertips, dragging Loki to the Observatory. Then, Thor appeared, flying in from afar. "Fix this!" she yelled, Loki flinched at the foreign sound coming from her mouth.

"Nyx, stop! There's nothing you can do" Thor interrupted.

"And you can?!" Nyx argued, Thor noticed the ring of smoke around her iris.

"What happened to you?" he asked.

Nyx stared at him and rolled her eyes. "We don't have time for this." She frantically looked around, growing worried for the fate of Jotunheim. The truth was she didn't know. She didn't care to know until the Jotuns were safe, regardless of their beliefs.

Thor looked around deserted, watching the Bifrost fire shots off towards Jotunheim, gaining strength at the surge of energy moving through the bridge. He did not know what to do nor did Nyx, and even with Loki taken care of. He was at a loss. Loki watched smugly as the pair panicked.

"Look at you, the Mighty Thor. With all your strength, what good does it do now?" Loki teased. Thor knew he was right but hid from his brother nonetheless. He was powerless.

"Enough if you!" Nyx cursed.

Thor gazed down the length of the bride beneath his feet and noticed the vibrations sending goosebumps up his body. Nyx followed his gaze and too, felt the buzz of energy beneath her feet. The force and speed of the Bifrost energy was feeding the Observatory.

He knew how he could save Jotunheim. He knew what he had to do and it had nothing to do with his mightiness or strength, but his mind. He lifted Mjolnir above his head, his eyes fixated on the colorful ground under him.

Loki was again, confused as he watched with curiosity. Thor raised Mjolnir in the air. Clouds form above him, this time blue with bolts of yellow forming behind them, thunder began to rumble. Lightning arced off of his hammer, as he channeled the power of the storm into it.
