Jared's POV

Ugh. Another boring and uneventful day at school, may as well call it hell without the fire and piercing screams. Then all people could do is groan, bored out of their minds and exhausted from the loads of work that were given out from every teacher.

I just want to go home to my empty house while my "parents" are off on vacay. I suggily walk towards my locker. I just lay my head on the locker, not in the mood for anything. I take a deep breath and try to open it. I fail. Like always.

A few minutes go by, break is almost over, and I haven't even opened my locker. Why don't I just ask someone for help? Because who wants to help a loser do something so simple? I'll just make a bigger fool of myself than I already do.

"U-uh, hi?" Hm? I turn around and see a guy around my age, tapping on my shoulder.

"Hey, what's up?"

"Well I uh just, uhm saw you struggling a bit so I wanted to help. Ifthat'sokayifnotthat'sfine."

"Oh yeah, that would be great, thank you." I move out of the way and he walks up to the lock.

"W-what's your code?" He asks while looking back at me.

"7-23-16."

"Okay." He goes back to the lock and he does this really cute thing with his tongue, he sticks it out just a bit as he concentrates. He's adorable!

"Are you going to put your stuff in or…?" I snap back into reality to see the locker already open.

"Oh right, yeah, sorry." God I'm an idiot. As I'm putting stuff in my locker, I'm hesitant on asking for his name. Should I-

"What's your name?" He beats me to it, thank god.

"Jared, what about you?"

"E-Evan." He gives off this little and shy smile and my heart melted. God I'm so gay…

"Y-you're gay?"

"Hm? What?" Shit. I must of said that without knowing.

"You said you were gay, not that it's a bad thing! I'm bi but I've only really dated guys. Even though I used to have this crush on a girl and I don't know why I'm telling you this. Sorry I ramble a lot." His smile shifts and starts picking at the books he's holding.

"Hey, don't worry about it. It's cute. What's your next class?"

"U-uh, I h-have uhmm well it's- how do you flirt so easily?"

"Heh, I don't know."

"Lucky…" he says in a whisper. Poor guy.

"Hey, why don't we hang out sometime and I could teach you a few tricks?"

"Y-yeah. Okay." He puts his head up and gives off the most adorable smile I have ever seen. I can tell my school year is going to get a whole lot better.
