I'm bored again. Yayyy... I should find something to do. I don't want to die of boredom and go through the whole reincarnation ritual again. Don't ask. I get my iPad and open YouTube. I might watch a few videos of random boys building underground water parks with sticks and leaves. Totally random videos that autoplay.
I scroll for a little bit trying to find a video to cure my boredom but nothing is coming up yet. I see an ad on the top just playing. It's about a new app that recently came out. I clicked on the ad for a better view, I'm bored so why not.
A few seconds in and it's advertising about a new texting app. Where strangers make really weird usernames and talk to strangers to make new friendships and all that Jazz. Weird right? Don't we already have a lot of those. But then there's a bonus feature, near the end of the video. Of course it doesn't tell me what that is. It's probably just a bunch of hogwash to get more buyers.
I download it anyway. I'm bored, don't judge me. What I open up to is... different. You set up your account like always; make a username, add a profile picture, edit a little bio, the usual. Once I set up an account, I get a text from the app.

Well that was just a waste of time. I have no friends, who am I even going to talk to? I look around at all the other accounts. Either they're bots or a lot of people are bored like me and are desperate for entertainment. Everyone has cringy middle school names or just plain stupid profile pictures. Until I saw "LittleAnxiousTree". Sounds cute.
