Taking almost forever
Bonds loosing and fear setting in.
The great joy of being with you forever
And to love you forever

Happy Sunday Pals.
I can go to church now.
But not without my face 😷

Stay safe!

My mouth literally dropped open. I felt so freaking bad right now. Kemi rushed to hold me but I gently released my arm from her hand.

"Amanda, don't take their words to heart. Bayo loves you a lot." She said and I sniffed.

I was crying already, I thought.

I wiped away my tears. This isn't how I wanted my fairy tale to end.

I started walking towards the door. I turned to greet them before heading outside. I was unhappy that Bayo wasn't coming after me. I couldn't blame him. Not at all.

The gateman looked at me sadly and opened the gate.

"Have a nice day." He said but I didn't respond.

Then I heard my name.
"Amanda."

It was Bayo.

"Amanda please wait." Bayo begged.

"I don't want to loose you but I guess it's over." I said and sighed.

"Please don't say that Amanda." He said.

"I will go back to Lagos. Start a new life and forget about you." I said. My plan looked so simple but it couldn't.

"Amanda, I will talk to them. Please." Bayo begged knelling down.

"Your parents won't agree to us. You have to understand. I felt helpless. They both rejected me." I said and burst into tears.

Bayo stood up and pulled me into an embrace.
"Amanda," he called. "Please stop crying." His voice was shaky.

I stepped away and removed the ring from my finger.

"Bayo, look for someone from your tribe to marry to bring peace to your home. God bless you." I said and gave him a peck on the cheek and slipped the ring into his hand.

I turned. The worst decision to make and I left. I didn't turn back. Couldn't see Bayo's anguish. I had to, for our good.

I found my way back to Lagos and I decided to start my life anew......

It wasn't going to be easy to forget him....never was it going to.
Never.

Hey sorry for the short chapter.
Been kinda busy and low on Internet connection.
