"She's what?" I asked bewildered.

"She had gone into a coma, Mr Joe. I'm sorry but we have to let her wake up." He said.

"But she just woke up some weeks ago Doc. What kind of rubbish is this na?" I asked with tears in my eyes.

"The effect of the drug is wearing off. When she wakes up this time, she'll be fine. You only need to pray for her. Sitting down won't do anything. It's all in God's hands, Mr Joe." He said and patted me.

I stared at Amanda. She was going through a lot. It wasn't fair. It really wasn't.

"God, I know I can't question your power. But please help us." I said downcast.

I have to be by her side. Mama mustn't know about all this. She'll be fine.
