I woke up next to Daddy watching me.
" I thought you had work." I say before turning on my back
" I'm not working till later." He says as he gets out the bed.
" Come on sleepy head." He says uncovering me.
" Nooo I'm cold." I pout and he chuckles
" You can sit in the warm bath." He says and I pout. I get out the bed and I shutfle the bathroom where Daddy is filling the bathtub. I get into the bathtub with a pout.
" im still cold." I say with a frown and Daddy rolls his eyes.
" You will live Babyboy." Daddy says, After the bath I walk to my room and I see Milo sitting in the middle of the floor.
" Hi puppy!" I exclaim and Milo runs to me.
" Aww who's a sweet boy." I say as I rub his tummy. I play with him for a while until I hear Daddy calling me. I rush out the room still in my towel and i see Daddy standing at the bottom of the stairs.
" You're missing clothes." He says and I look down now realizing I only have on a towel.
" Yes I got a little side tracked." I say gripping my towel.
" Please go get some clothes on, unless-" he says
" I'm going to go put some clothes on." I say rushing away from the stairs. I pet Milo quickly and I go to my closet. I grab some black jeans and a plain blue sweater. I rush downstairs and I see Daddy sitting on the couch. I walk to the couch and I straddle Daddy making him jump.
" Goodmorning Prince." He says and I give a small smile. I look Daddy up and down and I realized I am way underdressed.
" Should I change?" I asked and he shakes his head.
" You look great." He says as his hands drift up my shirt.
" Dont we have somewhere to be?" I ask and his hands drop. He checks his watch and sighs.
" Yes Yes we do." He says as he gets up. I jump up and I follow him into the kitchen.
" Hungry?" He asked and I shake my head. He nods and he grabs a bag that I didnt notice. After I put on my shoes he led me to the car.
" Can I sit shotgun please Daddy." I asked sweetly and he nodded. I got into my seat and Daddy pulled out of the driveway.
" Where are we going?" I ask and he shrugs.
" Its a secret." He says and I roll my eyes.
" So early and you're already testing me." He says and he makes a sharp right turn. I apologize and I turn to the window. I watch as everything goes by until we stop at a huge building. We get out and I look at Daddy with a nervous look and he grabs my hand.
" Hey dont worry you'll be okay." He says and I nod slowly. We walk in the building and it looks amazing on the inside. Somebody comes and gets us and takes us to a room.
" it's pretty in here Daddy." I say in a whisper as I look around the pale yellow room. There was pastel decor everywhere. Daddy hummed in response as we sit down. Soon enough an employee named Bryce walked in with 2 trays. The trays had cake and labels on them and I finally realized where we were. We were doing a cake tasting for the wedding and I just figured it out. I'm a little slow sometimes but yall didnt need help to figure it out. Daddy looks at me and I look back with confusion.
" I asked you to pick one." He said and I nodded I grabbed a plate and handed it to him. He pulled me into his lap.
" What?" He asked and I shrugged
" Nothing." I say avoiding his eyes.
" No, Caleb we can talk." He says and I nod.
" Later please." I say with a pleading look and he nods. I grab a fork and I take a bite of the cake. I jump off Daddy lap and I rush to the trash can i quickly spit out the cake.
" wow that was delicious." I say and Daddy chuckles.
" Carrot cake with a spice frosting." He says reading the card and I gag.
" I guess that's a no." Daddy says and I nod. After many pieces of spit out cake we decided on 2 cakes. Devils food cake with dark chocolate ganache. And Vanilla with sea salt caramel buttercream.
" who would want a carrot cake wedding cake." I pout and Daddy chuckles.
" I don't know Prince." Daddy replies as an employee walks in. He turns to talk to the employee and after and long ass time they decided on something and we got to leave.
" yay yay yay yay yayyy." I say and Daddy raises an eyebrow
" I get to ride shotgun." I say and Daddy rolls his eyes. We get into the car and Daddy starts to drive home.
" Prince?" He says and I look at him
" Yeah?" I ask shifting my attention
" Are you okay, mentally, physically, and emotionally, do you need to talk?" He asks and I nod. ( this applies to my readers as well, if you wanna talk hmu we can chat on messages or on another format💚)
" I need verbal confirmation." He says placing his hand in mine.
" Idk I'm kinda nervous." I admit gripping Daddys hand.
" I understand." He says.
" We can delay the wedding if you need time?" He suggests and I quickly shake my head.
" No I'm so ready. I'm just nervous something bad is gonna happen." I say and Daddy smiles.
" I promise nothing is gonna happen." He says and I nod.( spoiler alert dont make promises you cant keep.)
" I trust you." I say laying my head on his shoulder. Soon enough we are home and it's getting late. When we get home Daddy goes to the kitchen and I go to play with Milo. I miss him so much during the day. With the wedding in a couple weeks I dont wanna miss my puppy. I play fetch with l
Milo until Daddy calls me into the kitchen. I see plates at the island and I sigh.
" No excuses, eat." He says and and sigh. I sit down and I start to push to food around my plate.
" Prince you cant only eat chicken nuggets." Daddy says sounding frustrated and I pout.
" yea I can." I whine and Daddy smiles. After many promises of punishment and then several warning hits I decided it would be in my best interest, but if you ever see me in the forest fighting a grizzly bear? Help the bear. ( only the elite know???) I eat and I receive a kiss from Daddy. After eating food because I cant only eat chicken nuggets I went to the living room to color. I start to draw but Milo keeps bothering me.
"Milo please." I say and he just turns his head. I growl at him and I finish drawing and it ends up being Milo. I see Daddy watching from above me and I jump
" holy hell, you scared me." I say clutching my heart and Daddy grabs me.
" Princes don't cuss." He says and I nod. I go back to playing with Milo as Daddy watches tv. After Milo falls alseep i lay my head on Daddys lap and I start to drift off.
