The first night that they were back from holiday, and Courfeyrac was already shouting excitedly at them in the café Musain.
Between Jehan having now fully recovered from his fever and the problem of a tired Amelie for a few days, an overexcited Courfeyrac was not uncommon. Amelie having only two words to say to him upon entry. "Talk less."
This only makes Courf more excited as he starts to slide around yelling "ShOwTiMe!!!!!" at anyone unfortunate enough to have been paying attention. Showtime equals happy Jehan and no one can deny a happy Jehan.
Which doesn't turn out well for Amelie when 'showtime' means some sort of confusing dance competition. The childish taunting of Courf leads Amelie to crack and give into his silly game.
Courf lets Amelie go first, thinking that he'll far be able to out dance someone he's never seen dance before.
Of course he wasn't expecting Amelie to start dancing a perfected ballet routine when someone started playing music. So naturally Courf has to dance at the same time, trying to fit it with the music, ending up with odd looking break dancing.
Jehan hadn't minded Amelie joining in with the game. He knew it would be easy for her to win. Not that he'd seen her dance, just that he believed she could. So when Amelie did start dancing, Jehan broke out into his usual smile for whenever Amelie does something amazing (basically always).
