Chapter 23 - The play

Bella's POV

"I stopped believing in love, and my disbelief shall go on. Love is a luxury not all people can afford. 7 billion people in the world but it feels like the number is not enough to find the right one for me."

"You do not have to find that one. Tell me your dreams and aspirations, tell me the soul that you're longing for, and I shall be that person."

"Love. It is not something you impose on a person. Loving obtained through pretending is not long-lasting; such love fades away with time. If I shall love, it shall be without pretention, without lies. If I shall love, I shall love that person whole-heartedly beyond all flaws and imperfections. I must apologize, for the love that you feel for me must end here. I can't give you the love that you're longing for, Good bye."

"Please! I beg of you; give me a chance. If this love shall destroy my soul, it shall be destroyed without regrets. I'd happily feel my soul crushed to death while having you in my arms. If that's the risk I'd have to take to win your heart, then my love, so be it. For I'd rather live a short life feeling your love, than a long one yearning for a love that I've never had."

"I don't want a short-lived love. I want a love that perseveres until we both die of old age, looking back to this moment and never regretting a single moment of it."

"Such love is obtained if you'll start believing in one, please have faith my love. I love you."

Then he wraps his arms around her waist, his other hand cupped her cheeks, his thumb caressing her lips. She can't stop this feeling as well. She can feel herself melting into his arms as she closed her eyes, ready to receive his most-awaited kiss.

"Yiieeeee nakakakilig! OMG Sis! Can you believe it? Ako to! Ako yung Princess! Ako yung bida! Aaaahhhh!" tili ni Judith.

"Aaahh! Ang sakit sa tenga!" sarkastikong pagkakasabi ni Bella habang nagtatahi ng costume, "Alam mo, practice-in mo muna yung pagiging demure ng Prinsesa. Magdadalawang lingo mo na pinapractice yan paulit-ulit. Jusmiyo, natutulig na ko."

"Kabisado mo na no?" kindat ni Judith kay Bella.

"Oo!" Bella jokingly rolled her eyes at her friend.

"Ah basta, sobrang saya ko, Sis! I've always wanted to do this and next week, magpeperform na ko! OMG!" sabi ni Judith sabay inom ng nagyeyelong soft drinks.

"Hoy tumigil ka n nga ng kaka-softdrinks mo! Pag ikaw napaos diyan, sige ka." Banta ni Bella sa kaibigan.

"Wag mo nga ako i-jinx dyan. Magfocus ka sa damit na tinatahi mo at mukhang malapit na matapos." Sabi ni Judith.

"Ah oo. Finafinalize nalang namin yung damit ng extra, pero I made sure na sobrang maganda yung damit mo. Binuhos ko lahat ng pagmamahal at atensyon ko dun." Sabi ni Bella.

"Alam mo sis, super ganda nga ng damit. I can't believe na isa ka sa mga gumawa nun. May future ka talaga sa designs." Sabi ni Judith.

"Thank you, sis. Thank you for helping me discover my dreams." Sabi ni Bella. "O siya, uminom ka ng salabat at kanina ka pa hiyaw nang hiyaw dyan. Costume-fitting natin bukas."

Liam's POV

"How to make a girl fall for you." Type ni Lucas sa Google habang nasa laboratory room kami at naghihintay sa Prof.

"Lucas, akala ko ba expert ka sa ganyan? Ba't ginu-google mo pa?" tanong ko dito.

"Bro, imagine, campus crush ka, girls fall on your feet, they do everything just to get your attention but this girl? Nah." Iiling-iling na sabi ni Lucas. "Can you get straight to the point?" tanong ko.
