Grey:

"Hey!" Sam says as I walk into the apartment. "How'd it go?"

"Good" I say. "He's leg is free."

"What's wrong?" she asks me.

"Nothing" I say. "Why?"

"I just figured you'd be over the moon about this" she says shrugging.

"I am" I say. "I'm really happy for him and I'm happy he's healing."

"But" she prompts.

"But it's just so hard having him not remember" I sigh. It's been a little over six weeks since the accident and he still doesn't remember a thing. I'm beginning to lose hope that he'll ever remember and it sucks.

"I know Grey" Sam says to me sadly. "I can't imagine how hard this is for you."

"It's okay" I say deciding I wouldn't let this ruin Hunter's night of celebration especially since it was my idea. "We're going out tonight to celebrate" I say changing the subject.

Sam gives me a look that asks if I'm okay with going out and celebrating in such a depressed mood and I nod. "Well alright then!" she says excitedly. "We better start getting ready then."

An hour and a half later after a shower, make-up, hair arranging, and outfit deciding Sam and I are both ready to go. We both look great and my mood has lifted some. It's pretty warm out tonight and I'm grateful spring is finally here. I'm wearing a red dress that hugs my curves and I know it will make Hunter happy since he loves me in red. My hair is in curls but pinned to one side so it hangs over my right shoulder and leaves my left one bare. Sam gave me a smoky eye and put red lipstick on me and told me I could pull it off with the dress, the hair, and my fair skin.

Once we were ready we only had to wait about 15 minutes until the boys showed up. Sam went and got the door and from my room I could hear Daniel tell her how beautiful she looks. I could hear Hunter as well as he said hello and my heart skipped a beat. I looked in the mirror one last time took a deep breath and then stepped out of my room.

As soon as I walked out I felt Hunter's eyes fall on me and I smiled as his eyes met mine and saw the look of pure awe in them. When he looked at me I felt beautiful just like I had with Jason. It was a rare thing. I felt his eyes roam over the rest of my body as I walked towards him and I couldn't help but blush as I saw the look of appreciation and want in them.

"You look stunning" he whispers like it was a secret just for us to know and I appreciated that he wanted this to be a private moment between just him and I.

"So do you" I say because it's true. He looks incredible. He has on dark jeans that hang perfectly on his hips and I can picture the way that perfect V is probably showing if he took his shirt off. He's also wearing a tight black t-shirt that makes his light blue eyes look even brighter and not to mention how it hugs his biceps. "How's the leg?" I ask.

"It feels incredible" he says smiling at me and it's a genuine smile one that actually touches his eyes.

"Good" I say smiling back. "Shall we go then?" I ask looking at him and then Sam and Daniel who are off in their own little world.

"Yep let's go" Hunter says as he reaches his hand out towards me and I gladly take it in mine.

We leave the apartment and walk to the bar. Taking our time since none of us are in a rush and it's nice. I'm happy as I walk down the street hand in hand with the man I love and my best friend close by. I think tonight I'm going to try and just forget about all of the other bad stuff and focus on Hunter and celebrating the small victory of him getting his cast off and the big victory that he is still here. His still alive. That was something for me to celebrate.
