Hunter:

I'm currently waiting for my wife to arrive so we can celebrate the twelve year anniversary of the day we met and of course she's late, but being that she's been saving lives all day I'll give her a free pass. I'm standing in the garden in our backyard which I have decorated with twinkling lights just for her as soft music plays in the background. I admit I have pulled out all the stops, but it's not like nights like this came around all the time. Besides, I liked being romantic still after all these years together.

When I see her enter the backyard it's like I'm seeing her for the first time again and my God does she look absolutely breathtaking. As she slowly walks towards me with a glowing smile I'm reminded of the day she became my wife.

You can do this Hunter. That's what I tell myself over and over again as I stand at the front of the church waiting for Grey to come out. Now, I have no doubts about marrying Grey. I have wanted to spend the rest of my life with her for years now, but it was still pretty nerve wrecking standing up here in front of all of these people.

"Breathe dude" Daniel says as he pats my shoulder.

"Yea man, you look like you are going to pass out" Nate laughs next to him.

"You guys are probably the least helpful groomsman ever" I tell them as I roll my eyes and attempt at breathing deeply. "Are we starting soon?" I ask as I begin to grow impatient. I just need to see her already. If I see her I'll calm down.

"Yea" Daniel tells me. "The girls should be coming out in a minute."

As if right on cue the priest signals for everyone to be seated and then the music begins to play. Moments later Charlotte comes out first and I look over at Nate who smiles lovingly at her as they make eye contact. Next comes Sam and I don't even have to look at Daniel to know that his jaw needs to be scooped up off the floor right now. Lastly comes Ashley and as she walks down the aisle my heart begins to beat even more rapidly because I know any moment Grey is going to come walking through those doors.

Just then the priest motions for everyone to stand and then the doors open and Grey glides through the doors looking like heaven on earth. She truly is the most beautiful creature on the planet and I'm the luckiest son of gun in the universe.

Her eyes lock with mine immediately and a small smile plays on her gorgeous lips as she walks towards me. My eyes move from her perfect face to the beautiful dress adorning her body. It's stunning. It's more stunning then I could have ever imagined. The tight bodice hugs her curves and then flares out from her hips like a princess ball gown. It's not over the top though it's almost simple, but still extremely elegant, just like Grey. Her hair is partially pulled back but is still flowing down her back and around her shoulders in long beautiful curls. She looks like an angel.

She's glowing as she walks down the aisle towards me and I can't help but smile back at her. This is it. This is the moment when she truly becomes mine forever. I can't believe it's finally here.

When she reaches the alter she hands off her bouquet of flowers to Ashley and then places her hands in mine. We face the priest together as he begins the ceremony and when it comes time for our vows Grey goes first.

She smiles shyly and lovingly at me before beginning and I can tell she is fighting the urge to tuck a piece of hair behind her ear even though it is already pulled back. I smile at her and squeeze her hand reassuringly.

"Hunter" she breathes as she starts off showing that her words are meant solely for me and hearing her say my name like it is the most precious word in the universe fills my heart with more joy than I could ever describe. "We have waited many years for this day to arrive and I can honestly say that over those years my love for you has only grown. You have shown me more love in the time that I've known you then most people experience in their lifetime and for that I am truly grateful." She pauses as tears fill her eyes and she fights them back. I'll admit my own eyes feel like they are developing tears. "Anyone here who knows us knows that we both have lost people we loved and they know how much those losses affected us. They know how lost we both were. The day I met you, you saved my life. I hadn't realized it right away, but you gave me a reason to want to live again. You made getting up in the morning worth it again. You have given me so much Hunter Williams and I can only hope to give you half as much in our life together. I promise here and now to love you always and unconditionally. I promise that even during the darkest of times my love for you will not waver or lessen. I promise that it will only grow. I promise to love and cherish every single moment of our lives together. I promise to never let you go."
