Yeonjun was still spacing out, he wasn't able to get sleep since these thoughts kept repeating in his brain.

Soobin notices as he stands up and walks towards the older boy with a folder on his hands slamming it down on Yeonjun's desk to grab his attention, this action causes Yeonjun to flinch and come back to reality as he traces his eyes up to his boss.

"Um...sorry sir," Yeonjun says lower his gaze.

"You have been spacing out too much today," Soobin says. For some reason, Yeonjun can feel his hands start to sweat as Soobin looks down at him.

"Sorry s-sir" Yeonjun stutters.

"Anyways get this done, finish it by tomorrow and turn it into me," Soobin says placing the folder he just slammed on the table closer to Yeonjun. Yeonjun nods shyly and takes the folder while opening.

But before Soobin can leave something catches his eyes. Soobin grabs the book laying on Yeonjun's desk and frowns while looking at the cover.

Yeonjun was looking through the folder but then notices that Soobin still hasn't left from his table, he looks up.

"Do you need some-" but stops mid-sentence when he notices what Soobin was holding. Yeonjun's eyes get wide.

He looks as Soobin flips through the pages of the book, damn now he wants to kill Beomgyu for giving him this book.

"I never thought you read these types of books," Soobin says as he flips the pages. At this moment Yeonjun wanted to hide and never see Soobin again. This was so embarrassing but he knew and had a reason why Beomgyu handed him this book.

"um...well it not mind it's my friends and he just let me borrow it for a while," Yeonjun says trying to make an excuse of why he even has the damn book.

"It's an interesting book I would say," Soobin says turning to look at Yeonjun.

"You h-have read it?" Yeonjun asks.

Soobin nods his head, "I don't really know how I feel about the ending but it's okay" Soobin says placing the book back on the desk.

"Are you gay?" Soobin asks straightforward freezing Yeonjun. Yeonjun stutters trying to find an answer as Soobin gets closer to him.

Yeonjun felt himself start blushing as Soobin got closer to his face. He could feel his heart start racing as butterflies appeared in his stomach.

"um...n-no...i don't k-know" Yeonjun finally gets something to come out of his mouth as he stares at Soobin's brown and intimate eyes.

"Do you want to test that out?" Soobin whispers into Yeonjun's ear. Yeonjun can feel Soobin's warm breath against his neck causing goosebumps to form on his smooth skin.

A knock on the door is suddenly heard as Soobin backs away from Yeonjun.

"Come in," Soobin says as if nothing at all happened.

The older lady from the front office comes in, "Mr.Choi, Mr.Min has arrived and is waiting to meet you in the meeting room" She says holding a clipboard in her hands.

"Thank you for noticing me, Mrs.Kang," Soobin says walking behind her as they both leave the room while closing the door behind them.

Yeonjun just stares at the book and looks at the title, 'Happier'.

"What just happened?" Yeonjun mumbles still in shock.

The book that they were talking about is a little hint for a future book 😏

But I don't know if it's going to be the next book I publish I just know that it will appear in the future.
