"Did you already take your medicine?" Yeonjun asks while looking though his mom's drawing pad. Before Yeonjun's mom got sick she was an amazing artist, her work would almost tell a story to the eyes. Every time Yeonjun would look at her drawing's he would feel comfort, he would forget about his worries. He would forget how his mom is sick instead he would think of her as a healthy and strong woman.

But small happy things only last for a while before you actually come back to reality.

"I'm fine Yeonjun, why waste your time to ask about me when you are still young and have a future ahead of you," Ms. Choi says. Ms.Choi knows she will not survive, she was weak and incapable of winning. The only last thing she wanted for her son was to have a happy and bright future doing what he loves.

"Mom...i'm fine," Yeonjun says placing the drawing pad back on the nightstand. "You are clearly not fine, what's with the long face?" Ms.Choi says pointing at her son.

Yeonjun sighs, "Beomgyu wants me to work at an office place since I have a degree in management and they are hiring, but I want to stay at my current job," Yeonjun says.

"I don't even like management, but Beomgyu says I can earn more money to pay for college again and to pay for your medical bills" Yeonjun adds on.

"Yeonjun..." Ms.Choi's weak voice says grabbing Yeonjun's soft hands. "Please just do what you have always wanted to do, just follow your heart," Ms.Choi says.

It hurt Yeonjun seeing his mother in this state, it hurt seeing her plugged into so many machines and laying down all day. It hurt seeing that there was a chance of losing the person you cherish the most in this world.

Yeonjun had finally made a decision.

"Okay... I agree" Yeonjun says.

"Really??!!" Beomgyu excited voice exclaims from over the phone. "I don't know why you are so excited, management is freaking boring" Yeonjun says while cuddling with Kevin.

" Well for me it's extremely interesting," Beomgyu tells. "Just send me the application, and I will fill it in," Yeonjun says while scratching behind Kevin's ear.

"Okay," Beomgyu says before Yeonjun hangs up the phone.

Yeonjun sighs as he lays down while Kevin quickly cuddle himself against his owner. "But then if I actually get the job... I would have to quit my job at the pet store" Yeonjun whispers to Kevin.

Yeonjun adored those animals and hoped every one of them will get a good house and family to live in.

"I will visit them, once in a while" Yeonjun finally decided.

Kevin starts barking while licking Yeonjun's face.

"Okay...okay...fine but only one treat," Yeonjun says smiling while standing up and wiping his face while grabbing a bag with treats on top of the counter. He takes one out and bends down to give it to the small hungry dog.
