(EDITED)
Love is a hard decision to take in life especially if you're the prince of Bundang-gu, if you follow your heart your lover dies. If you follow the rules you get married to someone you don't truly love. Chisoo has taken the decision of loving the person he truly loves, but the punishments were already here."Dad...please don't" Chisoo begs falling to his knees as he is held back by the knights. He watches as his dad stands in front of his lover with a sword in his hands, aiming at the person he loves so much. The only person that understood him not as a prince but as a human being.
"Son...you know it's against the rules to love someone that isn't royal blood, and most importantly that it's a boy," The queen says walking towards Chisoo.
"But please, I love him..." Chisoo sobs.
"Chisoo, he is a knight and you are a prince that doesn't fit right...you are supposed to marry a beautiful and pretty princess," His mom says placing her hand on his cheek.
Chisoo flinches away from his mother's touch as he stares at her with begging eyes.
"Please don't..." Chisoo pleads. The queen stands up and turns her back towards her beloved son, leaving him to shout and protest against his parents.
Chisoo has fallen in love with a knight, he knew it was against the rules but he couldn't escape his feelings. The young boys that fell in love didn't know better, but they felt a connection that no one else understood. They started their love with a confession that was trying to deny itself, but the love between the boys overcame the denial and they started dating.
But sooner or later a maid found out and told his mother.
His mother's veins filled up with anger at the thought that her son was not normal in her terms. She would always say that love was between a woman and a man, a handsome prince, and a pretty princess. That had their happy fairytale ending.
And the only solution to this problem? To kill the boy that made Chisoo sin against the royal rules.
"Go on honey," The queen says to her husband, the royal and well-known king.
Chisoo's father points the sword to Sang's neck. Sang cannot help but stare at the crying boy that was pleading and begging his parents to stop. Sang never wanted this to happen, he didn't want Chisoo to watch him die or for their love to finally end in a cruel way. Sang felt his heart breaking at the sight of his boyfriend crying, the tears pouring out of the boy's eyes.
Sang felt the cold blade of the silk sword against his neck. He closed his eyes one more time before opening them again, "I'm sorry" he mouths towards his boyfriend.
Chisoo's father picks up the sword ready to pierce the blade through Sang's neck. After a long second the sword finally pierces inside the poor boy.
The young knight falls to the floor blood falling from his neck as he lays on the floor unconscious. The only things that can be heard are Chisoo's screaming and sobs, the knights have lost someone they cared about. Sang was the youngest knight and the other knights saw him like a little brother. They hated how they had to hold back, hold back against the queen's request.
Chisoo quickly elbows the knights on the stomach, the armor hurting like hell but Chisoo didn't care. Chisoo is able to get rid of the knight's grip on him as he quickly runs towards his boyfriend's lifeless body.
It hurt losing someone you love so much. Especially if that person meat so much to you.
Chisoo looks at the eyes of his lover but instead of seeing the usual glowing sensation, he only sees death lurking inside. He lowers his head and lays it down on Sang's chest, his heartbeat was gone and filled with silence instead.
"I love you" he whispers.
Chisoo picks up his head and looks at his father's back. His father was still holding the bloody sword, so Chisoo quickly runs towards his father before a knight can hold him back.
He grabs the sword from his father's grip and points it towards the queen and king.
"Son...stop," the king says picking his hand up telling Chisoo to place the sword back down.
Chisoo couldn't kill his parents, they probably deserve it but it's his fault that everything came out like this. It's his fault. He was the cause of Sang's death because he couldn't be normal. He couldn't like girls or fall in love with one.
Chisoo slowly steps back and stops next to the perished body on the floor. He looks down once again at his boyfriend. Chisoo could feel his hands start to shake as he moves the sword towards himself.
His father quickly steps forward to stop his son from doing something stupid.
But it's too late...
The sword was buried deep inside Chisoo's stomach as the boy let out a whimper in pain. His vision starts to get dizzy and blurry as he only sees his dad's figure running towards him but he blacks out before that large ruling figure can reach him.
