(UNEDITED)
2 weeks later

After reality hit both of the boys, Yeonjun left his position as Soobin's assistant. Knowing that their love was almost impossible, and finally accepting that they couldn't love each other. Because they probably weren't meant for each other.

Yeonjun went back to his job at Changbin's pet shelter, even when he was heartbroken he acted like he wasn't. He missed Soobin but he didn't want to admit it, he wanted to run back to Soobin but he couldn't. "Hey Yeonjun?" Changbin calls out, Yeonjun flinches as he turns his attention towards his friend. "Can you lock up for today? I have to go somewhere" Changbin asks looking at his friend with a  worried face.

Yeonjun simply nods, "Thank you, good night" Changbin says waving towards his friend as he walks out of the store and towards the cold outside world. Yeonjun finishes filling the food bowls and sits down on the carpet letting the dogs walk towards him, he softly pets them with a blank stare. He felt out of place, he didn't feel like himself anymore. He felt numb.

"Why can't I just stop thinking about him?" Yeonjun says pulling his hair. He didn't want to feel worse than what he was already feeling, he didn't want to be reminded of Soobin anymore. He didn't want to have those flashbacks of his past life anymore. He felt wet tears pilling in his eyes, but he didn't want to cry.

But he couldn't control it anymore. His tears had a mind for themselves as they roll down his cheeks.

He knew if he went back to Soobin, they will probably end up with the same outcome. Death. Even if it was more difficult to die in this modern world, Soobin's mom still had connections she could use to track down Yeonjun and possibly kill him if she wanted to.

Yeonjun stands up and puts all the dogs to sleep. It was time to stop thinking about things that aren't going to happen. Once he is assured the dogs are safe and sound. He turns off the lights, pressing the security code in and locking up for the night. Making sure the air conditioner was still on and still working properly.

He turns around towards the dark and quiet street. No one was in sight as he started walking towards his apartment that was near by. It was probably already the 12 pm, so barely anyone was still outside. Most of the building lights were off but some were still on, the street lights were lighting the road.

Yeonjun let out a large sigh as he wrapped his arms around his jacket. It was getting closer and closer to winter so it was cold and wet outside. He continued to walk to his apartment trying to take out the thought of Soobin away from his head.

----
"What do you mean? Soobin! Yeonjun was the only way for us to not get married" Cho Hee says pointing towards Soobin. Soobin sits down in his dirty office, objects were thrown around and papers were laying on the floor.

"It doesn't matter anymore, no matter how much I convince my mom I just know she will never agree" Soobin says. He hasn't gone home and he barely ate anymore, his hair was thrown all over the place and his suit was wrinkly with his tie loose. It was like he fought with a cat or something.

"My mom has moved the wedding to this week" Soobin planting his head on the table and banging it a few times. No matter what he looked at or what he thought it would just bring him back to Yeonjun. He wanted to go back to Yeonjun but he was scared his mother will hurt him, he didn't want to be selfish and hurt Yeonjun again.

"Ugh...i have to go, eat what I just brought you. Or else you will die from hunger" Cho Hee says grabbing her purse and walking out of the room. Soobin continued to lay his head on the cold and wood table as he tried to take Yeonjun off his head.

But dreams and flashbacks just tortured him, almost like they were warning him of something. But he ignored them and continued on his day. He grabbed the bag of fried chicken and decided to eat it, having nothing else to do. He was quite hungry anyways so why not?
