I was definitely and undoubtedly lost.
Could you blame me? On top of the fact that I hadn't been here for 2 years I was also so absolutely FURIOS that I didn't even watch where I was going.
Well, now I was beginning to regret this.
"Gosh, I should've just gone back to China," I exclaimed dramatically as I let myself fall to the ground, squatting there with my head resting on my knees.
"I agree," a snarkish voice said and I groaned. Not him.
"Get lost, Malfoy," I just said, not even looking up.
"Looks like you're the one who is lost," he teased and my head snapped up.
"No," I immediately lied.
Malfoy was leaning against a wall and he smirked at me while raising a single eyebrow,
"Oh really?"
I huffed and stood up.
"Yes and now if you'll excuse me, I'm going back to the dorms," I said, holding my head up high before studding off.
"Wrong direction!" Malfoy yelled after me and I stopped in my tracks.
Damn it.
I turned around and glared at him.
"I am not asking for your help," I immediately said. Draco laughed, like actually laughed. It wasnt mean or teasing and for a second I was rather surprised. I didn't know he was capable of not sounding like a brat.
Draco held his hands up in the air and shrugged.
"Don't mind me walking back then," he said before turning around and walking away.
I stood there for a second, complementing how much following him would hurt my pride before I sighed and eventually chased after him.
"What are you even doing here? Outside," I asked Draco after I catched up to him. I didn't exactly want to walk next to him but it was better than trailing after him like a little puppy.
"I saw Diggory dragging you off," Draco said with a shrug.
I raised my eyebrows at him,
"Do you like me or something? What do you care if Cedric takes me somewhere?" I asked in surprise.
Draco rolled his eyes,
"I know you think you're a princess or something," he began, pointing at the accessories gracing my head,
"But not everyone is in love with you," he spat.
I ignored his words,
"Then why did you wait for me?" I asked. Draco suddenly walked around a corner and I stumbled at the sudden change of direction. He laughed at me and I glared at him, straightening my uniform before catching up to him again with my head held high.
"You will soon learn that I practically own this place. It's my right to know what's going on," Malfoy said and I actually snorted at that.
"Gosh, Harry really wasn't exaggerating when he wrote about you. You really are a nosy prick," I said.
"Potter writes about me? Wait, Potter writes you? Are you two a thing?" Draco all but shot these questions at me and I sighed.
"Yes, yes, no," I answered lazily.
"We're friends. Friends write each other," I explained matter of factly. I could tell Malfoy didn't like my tone from the way he scrunched his nose.
