"Dragons!"
"Excuse me?"
"Come here, I'll explain,"
"Babe,what even-"
Before I could finish my sentence my frantic boyfriend had already grabbed my wrist and dragged me off into an empty hallway.
"Cedric, whats going on? You look so pale, are you okay?" I asked in worry when he finally let go of me. He had further dragged me into an empty classroom and was walking around nervously from one spot to another.
"Harry just told me what the first task will be. He found out from someone, the other's know too. It's Dragons. Real life, big... Dragons," he finished and I felt my blood run cold.
"Dragons," I repeated in shock. Cedric just nodded.
It took me about three minutes to feel my own heartbeat again but when I finally did I immediately ran forward, practically jumping Cedric while throwing my arms around his shoulders. He hugged me back and it was so tight I was afraid he was going to break one of my rips but I didn't care, I needed that.
"If you get eaten by a Dragon I will literally kill you," I said before clenching my eyes and hiding my face in the crook of his neck. He laughed and placed his hand in my hair, something that always soothed me.
"If I have the choice between the Dragon killing me or you I'd prefer the Dragon," he joked and I stomped onto his foot, making him yelp.
For a while we just stood there, clinging into each other and not saying anything. Then Cedric suddenly grabbed me by my thighs to pick me up before placing me on a desk.
I looked at him with big and questioning eyes but he just knitted his brows together before suddenly crashing forward and kissing me.
I reacted instantly, my hands getting tangled in his hair as he explored my mouth.
After a while I pushed him away by his shoulders and as our eyes met I said,
"Sleep in my dorm tonight,"
Cedric's eyes widened for a fraction before he clenched his jaw.
"Are you sur-"
To answer his question I pulled him closer by his collar and kissed him hard.
"Okay then," he muttered against my lips after a while before quickly rejoining them.
