I was currently being ogled by about twenty people, among them my friend's parents, famous aurors, former and current teachers and escaped prisoners. An odd mix of saviors but impressive nonetheless.

"What about her?" Moody asked. It was strange to know that he wasn't the man teaching me the entire last year.

"She's our secret weapon," my father declared proudly.

My head snapped to him and then to my brother. As we had stepped out of the chimney we had bursted into the middle of a conference and my father seemed to have already announced our arrival beforehand.

"Father, what-"

"She has always been out of control. She is of no use," Professor Snape said curtly.

Johnny went from my father's side to mine and held onto my arm. I looked at him and then at my father in worry.

"What is it exactly?" the man I recognised as Sirius Black asked from the end of the large table in the room.

My father turned to me.

"Honey, your grandmother has practised with you, right? Please show them," he asked.

My mouth fell open and I looked back at Johnny in surprise. The number one priority of my father had always been to hide my powers but now he was revealing them so easily.

Before Johnny could say anything Mrs. Weasley came forward, glaring at my father.

"Stop this now, Eugene! How dare you force your child to be a soldier! She's only 15!" she declared and although I had heard her yell many times before I never met her this angrily.

"Dad, what do you want me to do...?" I asked, hoping he'd correct himself.

My father rolled his eyes, ignoring the angry Mrs. Weasley.

"Look, Lia. You have special gifts and we will need you in the fight that is about to come," he said before turning to look at Moody.

"You asked for a strategy and here it is!" he exclaimed.

"Father, you cannot seriously suggest Lia to fight in this war!" Johnny said angrily, pulling me closer to himself.

"Of course I don't want her to. I'm just saying we have something to protect! Just show them, honey," my father begged, pulling me from Johnny's grip to pull me in front of him.

There was a brief silence in the room before Professor Lupin awkwardly cleared his throat.

"What exactly is it that you can do, Lia?" he asked in a calm voice.

I gulped and threw one last nervous glance at my brother before opening my palm.

"Well, my family carries magical blood of an ancient Chinese creature in it. I can basically bend the elements to my will and some other stuff," I mumbled helplessly. I wasn't used to showcasing my powers like some show animal.

Fire appeared in my palm and I sighed.

"Any wizard child can do that," Moody scoffed and I blushed

"Any wizard child can do that," Moody scoffed and I blushed.

"I don't know attack me or something! I don't know how to just show you," I said with a shrug, shifting my weight from one leg to another.

"Absolutely no-" Johnny began but in that second the purple haired girl shot a curse towards me and I made it stop mid-air. I felt my eyes begin to shift as they usually did when I used my powers. I manipulated the air with my thoughts to take me off the ground, making me float.

"The older I get the more powers will reveal itself. It varies from generation to generation. The creature was so powerful the people believed it to be a God and worshipped it as such," I continued before making my palm into a fist. The curse disappeared. I stopped letting the air flow underneath me and fell back down.

"Sometimes I do get a little moody though," I finished, glaring at Snape and Moody at the same time.

"Exactly my point! Eugene, what Lia can do is astonishing, yes, but it should be only for self defense and not as a weapon!" Mrs. Weasley demanded.

"I agree. Father, are you crazy? What are you thinking?" Johnny said as he walked up to him.

A chaos broke out and everyone started arguing and I sighed. They wanted to see my powers? Fine.

I held both my hands up and everyone froze in place, nothing but their eyes being able to move.

I smirked.

"While you guys decide my future I am going to take off. I assume Harry and the others are somewhere around here, too? Yeah? Okay, see you then," I said as I made my way out of the kitchen, snapping my fingers so they'd unfreeze.

I walked up the stairs and heard yelling by a familiar voice, making me smile.

Harry's back was to me and Hermione and Ron looked at me in surprise when I entered, causing Harry to turn around too. He seemed aggravated and I huffed,

"What? No reunion hug or anything? I asked. Harry's face fell and came forward to hug me.

"Since when are you here? Nice outfit by the way," Hermione asked and I explained the situation to her.

We ended up staying there for about a week until Harry's hearing. When it was announced that he'd be freed of all charges my father finally relaxed. He had been afraid that the order would be attacked and that they would need me to protect it. It was ridiculous and my brother wouldn't stop being angry at him. The times had shifted, so much I could tell. Everyone lived in fear.

Well, as Remus Lupin had said. In times of fear no one acted rational
