''HOW DARE YOU STAND IN THE SPOT WHERE HE STOOD?'' Harry yelled at Snape and I bit my lip, trying to repress the memory reasurfing.
The Order, what was left of it, had assembled. Getting into the school was easy, most of these death eaters were lower ranked than the ones we usually fought.
Snape went to attack Harry but before he could do so Mcgonnagal stepped in between them.
As the two fought my eyes wandered over the students, their faces worn out already. I didn't want to imagine the things they had to go through this school year. I found a pair of eyes looking back at me and my breath got stuck in my throat. Daphne.I moved forward and was held back by one of the Weasley twins, Fred. I smiled at him, mouthing that it's okay. Then I ran ahead, Daphne meeting me halfway.
''Hey,'' I said, breathlessly.
Daphne turned to look at me for a second before engulfing me in a bone crushing hug, whispering an apology into my ears. I hugged her back just as tightly. The students suddenly cheered when Snape escaped...yet the joy was kept short when the screaming began. When his whisper could be heard.
Mcgonnagal ordered the Slytherins to be put in the dungeons after that toad Pansy Parkison suggested to just hand Harry over. I held Daphne's hand tightly, knowing she'd fight with us.
The whole school immediately started moving, everyone going somewhere to protect the school or just wander off in panic. My eyes met Harry's across the hall and I abandoned Daphne to run to him. I practically jumped into his arms and only a few seconds laters Ron and Hermione showed up next to us, all of us quickly hugging.
''I'M STILL MAD AT YOU FOR JUMPING OFF THAT DRAGON!'' Ron called over the shouting crowd, holding my face in his hand as he laughed. I joined in his laughter, before hugging him and Hermione tightly once again.
''What should we do?'' I asked, turning to look at Harry.
''Ron and Hermione will get something to destroy the last two horcruxes with,'' he explained.
''What are they?'' I asked in surprise.
''One is his snake and the other is a object here at Hogwarts...'' he said urgently.
'' 'An object here'? That's all you got?'' I asked in concern.
''Look, I'll figure it out. Now, they're going to assemble outside of the school. You make sure they don't get in,'' he simply said to me and I knew what I had to do. I nodded before smiling awkwardly. I hoped this wouldn't be the last smile I'd ever give them.
''I'm going to light their asses up on fire,'' I said, trying to diffuse the tension, and Harry returned my smile. I quickly kissed each of them on the cheek before running ahead, ignoring my tight chest.
