"I am not going to catch you,"

I huffed and held tighter onto the railing.

"You won't need to, Malfoy,"

We've been playing this game for 30 minutes now. Draco had placed himself next to me by some unfortune and he was convinced I was going to pass out. Johnny on the other side of me was ecstatic, cheering with the whole stadium. He didn't even notice that my nose was bleeding and I was swaying.

The dragon finally ripped the stone that Cedric had transformed into a sheep m and now turned to look at my boyfriend as he was mere meters away from the Golden egg.

"Oh God," I said under my breath, watching as the dragon crept forward.

Draco next to me sighed and placed his arm around my waist, steading me.

"Oh God, I can't watch," I then said, shutting my eyes.

A few seconds later the entire crowd erupted in cheers, even Draco next to me.

I opened my eyes to see Cedric holding up the golden egg

I opened my eyes to see Cedric holding up the golden egg.

He was smiling and the Dragon was being contained by its keepers, releaving me.

Cedric's eyes landed on me and Johnny and he smiled even more brightly and I weakly returned it. Next to me Draco scoffed and I turned around to frown at him.

"What?" I asked. Draco made a face and pointed his chin towards my brother,

"I knew he wasn't smart but that level of obliviousness is unbelievable. You two are so grossly in love it creeps me out," he continued. I opened my mouth to say something but before I could speak up he pressed a white tissue onto my face,

"And do something about that nose, god dammit. It's disgusting,"

I watched him closely, my eyes not leaving his face as I took the tissue from his hand. I kept staring at him even as the next dragon was brought out and Fleur entered the Stadium. Almost every male was enticed but Draco only seemed to be watching the dragon.

"Why are you staring?" he asked after a while, eyes not leaving the dragons.

"You're being...nice," I conducted. He scoffed.

"I'm always a pleasure to be around," he said. The crowd went crazy as Fleur shot a spell at the dragon but Draco and I stayed still.

"No, you're being nice. Nice to me, all day. But you don't like me," I said in confusion.

Draco shrugged,

"What do you want me to say?" he asked defensively, still not looking at me.

"I want to know why yesterday you told me a dead frog would be a better potions partner than I am and today you're being all clingy and comforting,"

Draco opened his mouth to answer but the second he did the Dragon roared and shot flames out his mouth. The entire stadium ducked down and I felt his arms around shoulders, shielding me.

We got up again and before I could ask him again Johnny next to me had grabbed my arm and pulled me closer to his side, checking to see if I was okay.

I couldn't take my eyes off Draco until Harry finally appeared in the arena, pushing all the questions I had about Malfoy's strange behavior aside.

Watching him was even more frightening than watching Cedric as his dragon seemed to be three times the size.

The stadium did cheer for him though, something I hadn't expected. The Gryffindors especially. I turned around to see Dean Thomas holding up a sign for Harry and smiled. At least after this was over Harry wouldn't feel left out again.

"God, why are you always doting on Potter," Draco sneered, my head snapping back to him.

"What do you mean? We're friends?" I asked.

Draco frowned,

"You're also friends with Daphne, Granger or Weasley but you don't dote on them," he said.

"Harry is such a kind soul. He never judges anyone. He never cared that I was in Slytherin when all the other Gryffindors didn't like me because of it. He saved me from a troll when he was only 11. He wrote me about every little thing in his life for two years when others had already forgotten about me. I may not be his best friend but he is mine," I said with determination.

Draco seemed to dislike my answer very much.

"Typical Potter, always the hero," he muttered under his breath.

My eyes glued back to Harry, concentrating on his every move. He was currently hiding behind a stone, waiting for something.

"You could also be a hero," I said absentmindedly. I felt Draco's head snap to my direction, his eyes on me but I focused on Harry.

"You just don't know anything but being the villian," I continued.

Draco inched closer to me,

"Do you want me to be a hero?" he whispered. I turned to look at him, our faces mere inches apart.

"I think I'd like you more," I said honestly

"I think I'd like you more," I said honestly. Then a broom came flying in and the stadium erupted in cheers as Harry jumped on it.
