Draco Pov

She screamed in horror the second Potter rammed that dagger into his chest. She ran forward, falling to her feet in front of the collapsed Harry. He hands grasped onto his lifeless body and got covered in blood, making her scream in agony.

Finally the knives floating over us fell down and the flames around the hall dimmed. It was a peaceful quiet ripped apart by her agonizing screams.

The second danger was over Granger and Weasley stood up and ran up to them as well as almost everybody else. Only a few teachers attended to Dumbledore.

Madame Pomfrey finally reached him and pointed her wand at him. For a few minutes there was a hectic commotion around him and I was starting to slightly get worried when-

Ah yes. A collective sigh. Potter had made it.

The students and teachers flinched away as Madame Pomfrey conjured a floating bed and the bloody Potter was lifted on it. I walked past everyone, ignoring all the noise and people who were rushing around.

Finally I saw her, cowering on the ground. She was sobbing uncontrollably and I sighed in relief. Finally she had cracked.

I stood near Granger and watched as Weasley exchanged a worried look with her before he crouched down to be at her level

I stood near Granger and watched as Weasley exchanged a worried look with her before he crouched down to be at her level.

"Are you okay, Lia?" he asked, unsure on how to approach her. Lia looked up to him, her eyes already red rimmed. She held her shaking arms up, tained with Potters blood.

"What have I done?" she cried, her whole body beginning to shake as she fell forward

"What have I done?" she cried, her whole body beginning to shake as she fell forward. Weasley caught her and pulled her into a hug and she let him hold her. Granger also crouched down and placed his hand comfortingly against her back.

I shut my eyes.

So I guess this was goodbye.

Lia was back and that could only mean one thing. That I had lost her. She'd never want to be mine. Not after everything she's been through. Not after everything I didn't keep her form.

There was no way she'd ever forgive my selfishness.
