Something New (5 Seconds of Summer and Before You Exit)

First Day Exploring

Taylor's POV:

I wake up the next morning confused but then I realize that we had our first night in the new appartment and I imediatly became happy. I think this place will do great things for me and Vikki and hopefully it lasts longer then my consience says it will. I walk out of my room in my sweats and my "I <3 1D" t-shirt to find Vikki in the kitchen.

"Morning gurl" she says with a smile as she flips the pancake on the stove

"When did you get food?" I ask confused considering we got here last night

"Well because the of the time zones and everything I got up early and I couldn't fall back asleep so I just went grocery shopping." She says with a smile then focusing her attention back to her pancake

"Oh sweet. Thanks sis." I say and give her a side hug as I go and sit on the couch infront of a massive TV on the wall.

"So what should we do today?" I ask Vikki from the couch

"hmmm...well we can go to the grove OH! and I need to go to the university head office so I can get my books and get everything sorted out for tomorrow." Vikki says as she goes down her mental list

"Cool. I'm gonna go get ready. Call me when breakfast is ready." I say walking back to my room and I hear a faint ok from Vikki. I get to my room and decide to check the weather before I decide what I'm going to wear. "hm. its pretty hot out" I mumble to myself

I decide on acid washed high-waisted shorts, my black VANS t-shirt with vans written in red in the middle with my black and white VANS

"Tay! Breakfast is ready!" Vikki yells down the hall

"Ok coming! I say as i put my superman snapback as the last touch to my outfit. I walk out of my room and sit on the the island infront of the stove and grab 2 pancakes and put them on a plate.

"Thanks for breakfast Vikki. These are really good!" I say to her with a smile

"No prob gurl. Now you finish eating while i go get dressed." I nod in response and she walks away.

Moments late Vikki walks out with jean shorts with a white t-shirt and a flannel and all black converse. We walk out of our room and make our way down to the lobby and out of the complex. Because Vikki will be here for a while because of school she used some of her money from her old job to rent a car for a few years while we were here. We find it in a parking spot with a man standing near it with the keys to the car. We hop in and Vikki starts to drive to her new university

I ended up just waiting in the car for her to finish up her shit cause I was too lazy to get out.She comes back about 20 minutes later with a folder with a few papers in it. Probably about her classes.

"Alright. To the Grove." She says smiling at me and i giggle in response. it takes us another 20-30 minutes to get to the grove but when we get there it is HUGE! (a/n mind you I have NEVER been to LA so don't be judgy pleeeaseee) There were stores everywhere and resturants and small café's everywhere and I was amazied. I think I may pick up a couple of things myself!

After spending about 3 hours walking around and Vikki picking up cute things for the appartment and I got 2 magazines. Don't judge! I need to keep up with ma bands! anywho, we ended up at Panera Bread at around 2ish for lunch.

"So how should I pass my time by tomorrow?" I ask her as I eat a spoonful of my mac n cheese. God this stuff is SO GOOD!

"Well I saw a starbucks down the street from our appartment so you could go down that street and check out all the other cool things. Um if there is a Target or Kohl's you can get things for your room or something. You know?" She says

"Yeah thanks! Ill do some pennyboarding too." I say happily

We finish our lunches and head back to our appartement and just have a relaxing day.
