Date Night

Taylor's POV:

Yesterday the party ended slightly early since my dad ruined the mood. I ended up going back to Toby's house with him while Riley and Connor stayed with Michael, Calum, Luke and Ashton. We just chilled the rest of the night and Riley and Connor ended up coming home pretty late. They also told me that Vikki and Calum ended up leaving together too...hmmmm

Anyways it was the next day and we were all in the kitchen eating some breakfast before I was going to go home and hang out for a while till Toby and I's date. I was honestly so excited but nervous becuase I am known to be clumsy and awkward. I dont want to ruin this for myself.

I was in my room just hanging out cause Vikki ended up going to lunch with Calum. Apperantly he stayed the night😏. Ill have to talk to Vikki later about that and hopefully they used protection cause i dont want any nieces or nephews anytime soon.

I decided on skyping my friends to pass the time by before my date with Toby. I go onto our group chat on Skype and message it a few times waiting for some responses. A couple minutes later Ros, Hettie and Sadie respond so I call the chat.

Me: Hey guys! How have you been!? Its been foreverrrr

Sadie: OMG TAYLOR! HOW IS LA???

Hettie: Hiiiiii

Ros: I hate that you get to live in LA!

Me: aha hi Sadie and OMG LA is so amazing and I have big things to tell you guys!

Hettie: WHAT! OMG IM EXCITED!

Me: Hettie chill! So you guys know that band I like Before You Exit? And my fave person from the band is Toby right?

Ros, Saide, Hettie: Yeah

Me: Sooooo I kind meet him like a couple of days after we moved here and we have been hanging out for the past 3 weeks and we are basically best firends now but yesterday he...

Ros: HE WHAT!!!!!

Me: HE KISSED ME! And, were going on a date tonight-well actually in 1 hour

Hettie: omg your so fucking lucky! You better skype with us again and make sure he is there!

Saide: Yeah i wanna meet him!

Me: Well guys the other things is that my dad found out about me being here and he was suppose to call me at noon today but he never ended up doing that so im kinda scared of what he is going to do...

Ros: Hey dont worry about that right now! Focus on your date! We can help you pick out your outfit!

So for the rest of the hour the girls helped me pick the perfect outfit for my date.

It was 5:50pm and Toby was going to be here in 10 minutes. I was freaking out. I was so nervous and I kept fixing my hair but when I did my friends would yell at me telling me that I would mess it up. I was wearing a black muscle tee with white wings on it, black high-waisted shorts, black and white high-top converse, a small blue neckalace and my hair was in waterfall braids all around my head.

Toby said it wouldn't be anything fancy so I took his word for it! I was taken out of my thoughts when I hear a knock on the door. All my friends started to giggle and I just laughed at them, said bye and then ended the call.

I answered the door with Toby standing there in black skinny jeans, plain white shirt, dark maroon shoes and his hair was styled into a perfect quiff and smiling of course

"You look great" He says hugging me

"Thanks! So do you." I reply as he releases me

"Lets goooo!" Toby screams as he drags me out of my home

Once we got to Toby's house it was dark in the halls but there were small candles on the floor.

"Toby whats-Toby?" I ask and look around. Nobody was here. I look on the floor to find a note

Follow the candles! -Toby :)

I chuckle to myself at his cuteness. I follow the candles and end up in their backyard. All the fences had twinkly lights drapped over them and in the middle of the deck there was a table with 2 chairs and other things needed for eating a meal. I guess were eating dinner!

I walk towards the table and sit in the spot that had a name card that had my name written on it. I then see Toby walk in through the side door with a huge smile on his face as he comes to join me

"Wellll? What do you think of the set up?" Toby asks me

"Its beautiful! I love it!" I say

"Good cause it took us an hour to set up to Toby's liking." Riley says coming out with 2 plates of food and connor holding 2 drinks

"Awww thanks you guys" I say getting up to hug them then return to my seat

Our dinner ended up being penne chicken alfredo and it was AMAZING! Never knew Riley was such a good cook. Toby and I were just talking about random stuff until he asks me to go...swimming?

"Why are we swimming at 7pm? Plus I dont have a bathing suit." I say

"Yes you do! You left yours here earlier silly! And cause swimming is fun and its really hot out. Now go chaaange." He says pushing me into the house

I come back downstairs to see Toby sitting at the edge of the pool. I decide to walk quietly and slowly behind him and once i was close enough I pushed him in. I was dying with laughter!

"Heyyyy that wasn't nice!" He says standing in the shallow end with his arms crossed and making a pouty face

"Awww im sorry. I'll come and join you." I say and slip into the pool and walk over to him. I was about to say something but Toby started splashing me!

We kept splahing each other and laughing so hard that we couldn't splash each other any longer but while Toby was laughing I decide to go underwater and swim away from him and go to the deep end but he caught on quick and started swimming after me

I came up for air and so did he but before he could speak I went under again and so did Toby. We were smiling like total weirdos underwater but then Toby pulled me into his chest and I gave him a quick but passionate kiss on the lips just to tease him.

I swam out of the pool and decided to grab a towel but I then felt Toby turn me around and crash his lips on me again and I put my arms around his neck and his around my waist and I started to play with his hair. The kiss ended up lasting quite a while but I didn't care because its what i wanted
