Day 4: I'm Nothing

Taylor's POV:

I watched Luke's livestream last night and it hurt knowing that he had to tell all the fans. I can imagine how depressed they are and hoping that somehow we will find Ash, Mike and Vik soon. Of course I'm still stuck at home and my parents won't let me go anywhere until Vik is home safely.

I was in the living room watching some random movie because my parents always need to see me now as if I'm fucking 5! Our oversized house has security cameras in all the main rooms so they can see me wherever the hell I am in the damn place!

"Mom can I please go to my room now? I'm so bored down here!" I whine hoping they would finally give in.

"No. I need to see yo-"

"At all times to make sure I know where you are. I know mom but we have cameras everywhere. Just watch those this is so boring!" I say finishing off her sentence.

"Taylor I said no! Don't you have homework to do or something?" She asks as she continues to look at her laptop.

"Mom its July! School is over! That just goes to show how much you really care or even know about my life!" I exclaim standing up looking down at her sitting on the couch.

"No harm is doing extra work," She says calmly.

"It's summer. I'm not doing any homework mom! What the hell is wrong with you?!" I exclaim about to walk away until she roughly grabs my arm.

"Don't you ever talk to me like that again!" She exclaims and I feel her palm connect with my face. My own mother just hit me.

"What is going on in here!" my dad exclaims walking out of his office.

"Mom just slapped me," I say simply glaring at her.

"What? Taylor go up to your room. Your mother and I are going to talk. I'll come talk to you in a moment," My dad says calmly.

"Don't you ever fucking talk to me again," I say to my mom and run up to my room.

I can't believe she did that! Like seriously what the hell? And why was she acting so fucking weird?! Like I'm not gonna do homework in July! I don't even HAVE homework!

Everything is just so fucked up ever since Vik went missing...it's been 4 days and I feel like nothing. My body is here but my mind isn't and Toby hasn't gotten back to me since yesterday when we talked for about 10 minutes.

God I miss him so much. He would know what to say right now to make me feel better and then we would probably go buy more ice cream and walk around LA until it was around 7 and we would go watch the sunset...I smile to myself as I think of all the memories.

Once I get upstairs to my room I go on the desktop that for some reason my dad bought for me even though I already have a laptop. I should really sell this huge thing on eBay or something.

I log onto twitter and see a tweet from Before You Exit.

'Can't wait to meet all of our fans NYC tomorrow!!! xx'

There coming here? I thought Toby didn't know some of the dates for the tour?

I get knocked out of my thoughts when I hear a knock on my door.

"Hey hun," my dad says sitting on the edge of my bed and I spin my office chair around to face him.

"Look your mom has been going crazy ever since Vik went missing and knowing that she is pregnant and everything. We have also realized that we haven't been fair to you by forcing you to come back here without a good reason," He starts

"So we decided to let you go back to LA as soon as the police figure out where Vikki is. They said that they have a lead of where they could be because more of the fans of that band are starting to help with the investigation." My dad says smiling slightly.

"Thank you dad," I say and hug him tightly.

Toby's POV:

"WHY DID YOU TWEET CONNOR!? SHE IS GONNA FIGURE OUT THAT I'M SURPRISING HER YOU IDIOT!" I exclaim chasing him up and down the bus as we were driving to New York.

"Well if you told me your plan then I wouldn't have said it!" I says chuckling.

"I did," I say bluntly.

"Oh..." he replies.

"Guys chill we can still surprise her. Look I'm gonna email her the extra ticket that we bought for her and one of her friends so your plan will work out perfectly. She will probably be slightly mad or maybe sad that you didn't tell her but once she finds out it was all a plan then she won't wanna kill you," Riley says simply as he emails Taylor the 2 tickets to our show.

He was right though, I shouldn't be worrying about this because I know she will still be surprised.
