"As the family favorite. I feel like I should get me a new laptop.." I said cheesing at everybody. We were at family dinner talking and stuff so I felt like it was no better time to slide in my wants and demands.

"Fuck you need a new laptop fa? School almost over.." Mari said, Dad busted out laughing with Kat as I mugged him.

"For my youtube channel. My laptop been moving slow.." I explained, he shrugged.

"Send that bitch to Apple and get it fixed.." Mari said.

"Yeah what that nigga said" Dad said.

"Hush snitch. Youn even know what Apple is.." I said.

"Duh I know, it's a damn fruit.." Dad replied, Mari busted out laughing next to Mani as Ma shook her head. 

"No Jah, it's a Tech company. They have really nice products too.." Ma said.

"Hm." He said going back to his plate.

"I'm so happy we can have this dinner. I think I want to do a small gathering for JahNiya.." She said, I dropped my fork and stared at her.

"I'll be all for it.." Mani said shrugging.

She not affected because she don't even know her. She barely even effected by her death tf.

"I'll come.." Mari said, I looked at him and mugged.

"Nu?" Dad asked looking at me, I shrugged.

"Ion think I'm going.." I said softly.

"Well, If you change your mind it's ample time and whenever you wanna talk I'm here to listen.." Ma said, I nodded as I played with my fingers under the table.

"Me and Kat have some news from the doctor.."

Everybody looked their way as Kat sat there with a sad face. Mari looked at her and licked his lips. "It's gonna be ok.." He said softly, she nodded and looked at us.

"There is a chance that our baby might come out Hard of hearing or Deaf.." She said, My mother face dropped along with mine. WHAT THE FOCK!

"Damn.." Mani said shaking her head.

"Look like I gotta learn sign language after all.." Dad said, Ma hit him in the chest and mugged.

"Shut the fuck up.." She said through gritted teeth before looking over at Kat. "It'll be ok.." My mother comforted.

"Sigh.." I said shaking my head.

"I just don't know what to do.." Kat said as a tear fell down her face, Dad looked at her in disgust.

"Oh yeah I'm finna leave.."

"Shut the fuck up Clifford.." Ma said.

"Dad like Ain't no crying in da Pank.." Mani said, I busted out laughing as Mari shook his head at Kat chuckling.

"I hate all of ya'll.." She said.

"These kids.." Ma said shaking her head. "Anyway Katarina, I'll help you with my granddaughter. Niya was deaf and I think I did a pretty good job with that.."

I sighed and looked at Dad who was looking at me with concerned eyes. "Aye Nu, when dinner over. Step outside with yo ole Prison Pops.." He said, I nodded.
