Author's Note: because this ship isn't so well known, I write one, uwu, requested by Lara_Flicker! Thank you for the prompt, I had no ideas (and now I do)! Anyways, please enjoy the prompt, and I hope you enjoy!
THE ORIGINAL PROMPT:
Lara and Annie meet on a blind date together.

[THIRD PERSON]
"Lara, come down! We want to talk to you for a moment!"
Quickly stuffing her belongings into the drawers, she walked down the flight of stairs to the living room.
"Tell me what's going on?" Lara asked as she reached her friends. Jo, Jojo, and Jordan just looked at one another with a shared smile.
"You'll see soon enough," Jo replies slyly. Lara glared at the three, but didn't respond.
"Anyways, go get dressed!" Jojo says, pushing the cotton-candy haired back up the stairs. "Make sure to look nice!"
"But you just called me here!" she whined, as she climbed back up.
Muttering to herself, she changed her usual white overalls into a white sundress with light pink linings, which didn't look too different from her overalls, but looked more dressier. She adjusted her white headband, brushed her pink hair, then walked back down the long flight of steps.
Surprisingly, her friends didn't move from their spots, and looked the same as always.
"Anyways, now that you're dressed, you can now go on your date!"
"Date?!"
"Yeah, we set you guys up yesterday, and we thought today would be a good time for you to meet!"
"You mean like a blind date?"
"Exactly what we mean!"
Jo, Jojo, Jordan, and Lara walked outside to the car, and opened the side doors. Jojo took the driver's seat while Jo took the seat next to him. The other two took the backseat.
"So, who's the person that you paired me up with?" Lara asked on the way.
Jordan and Jo laughed. "Somebody who's just like you, in a way," Jo finally said.
[LARA]
We arrived at a small cafe, which, quoted from Jordan, is a 'fine place to hang out with others and to talk it out.'
Jo and Jordan pushed me out of the car. "We'd be no use to you on the date, it's all up to you!"
I sigh as I walked into the small cafe. It wasn't too big, but seemed much bigger on the inside than on the outside. Jackson greeted me as I entered.
"Welcome, Lara! I'm pretty sure that someone here's waiting for you!"
He gestured to a small table, where a girl my age was sipping some tea and scrolling through her phone. She had brushed red hair tied back with a green hairband that matched her green, emerald eyes, wore a blue shirt and skirt that matched, and had freckles that dotted the bridge of her nose, just like me.
Jackson smiled as he noticed me staring at the girl, then walked me over to the table, and placed an extra tea on the table.
"I'll be going now," he said as he walked back to the main desk. The red haired girl noticed me, smiled, then held out her hand.
"Hi! The name's Annie, it's nice to meet you," she said, shaking my hand lightly.
"Well, um, I'm Lara, it's nice to meet you too," I reply, stuttering my words a bit.
"What are your hobbies?" Annie asked, pushing the extra tea towards my direction.
I sit down and take it, then respond, "I like to hang out with my friends, draw, and listen to music! What are your hobbies?"
"Well, I also like to hang out with my friends, play sports, and read books!" she said excitedly.
We continued to strike up conversations about ourselves while drinking the tea (which, by the way, was Boba green tea). I learned many things about Annie, and she probably knows more about me than before.
Annie told me that she loved animals, which I did too, and that she volunteers sometimes at the pet adoption center in town. She wanted all the pets to get new homes that they would be loved at, which I agreed to.
I told her some of the things I liked to do when I had free time, like draw on my sketchbook on evenings while listening to music.
"What do you like to draw, Lara?"
"Well, mostly sceneries and animals, I guess, usually I draw whatever pops into my head and so-forth."
"Cool! I would draw, but I am a terrible artist! I can't even draw a stickman right!"
"Oh, I'm sure you're a great artist! I used to be a terrible drawer, but with practice and time, I now draw the way I draw!"
"Thanks, I'm more of a writer though, I like ideas and thoughts to write down on paper."
"Ooh! What do you like to write about, Annie?"
"Well, just like you, mostly things that I suddenly think of, or fanfictions about fictional characters. But it's usually a lot of fun doing so!"
We laughed as we continued to talk about each other's backgrounds, and the hobbies we enjoyed. After that blind date, I started to like Annie more, and a while later, we got together as girlfriends soon enough. I'm pretty sure that my three friends (Jo, Jojo, and Jordan) were spying on me during that blind date, but even if they weren't, I would say that I would do this date all over again.
"What are friends for?"
(ayyye, another story's out! I apologize that this story was short, I was searching up some prompts and got this one! And I'm not good with writing blind dates :T but anyways, I hope you enjoyed! Lots of love, everyone~)
