THE ORIGINAL PROMPT:

 Seungho looking over a picture of Kai from long before they met. He describes the younger Kai as a tiny precious child, then looks at Kai, and says 'Well, you're still a tiny precious child'.

"Wow, you have a lot of things," I noted as we walked into their room.

"Yeah, I know! I don't know what I do with them, so I keep spares just in case!" Kai replies with a smile. They held the bedroom door open as we walked inside.

I set up my small guitar while Kai set up their own guitar. Somehow, when we play together, it sounds... musical.

We strum on the strings and we actually play very well. Kai started to sing in the middle parts, and their voice is actually really beautiful.

When we finish playing, I tell them that they sang very beautifully. Of course, they blushed at my comments.

"Thanks, but I'm not really that good," they state humbly. I told them otherwise, which made them smile. Of course, I didn't notice a slip of paper falling into my guitar case...

I left her house due to the rule "be home before dinner or else you're grounded." I slung my backpack on the coat racks, ready for tomorrow.

I took the instrumental case and carefully took out the guitar I used earlier. I strum some low notes and practice with some higher pitched ones.

Then, I finally noticed the slip of paper in the case. I hadn't noticed it there before, what was it?

It looked of an old photograph, with a young, black-haired female smiling in the picture. I somehow recognized the smile from somewhere, but nobody I knew looked like that.

Where did I even get this? Wait, it might have fallen into my case when I was playing at Kai's house, so it probably belongs to them.

I walk to their house with my instrument case after finishing dinner, cause I had to, and knocked on their wooden door. They answered fairly quickly, and I showed them the photograph.

They thanked me for returning it, then before they closed the door on me, I asked, "Who's the girl in the picture? She looks cute, just like you..."

They stopped. "You're saying she's cute like me?"

"Yeah, but who is it?" I questioned again.

They let down the answer: "That's a picture of me when I was younger..."

I gasp in embarrassment and in surprise. That's why it looked so familiar! "Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't know it was you..."

"Yeah," they stiffled a laugh, "nobody could guess that it was me anyways when I showed it to them."

"It's just that... you look so much different," I said, scanning the photograph again. It was true, I couldn't recognize them now, the only feature that told me it really was Kai was the charming smile on their face.

"Yeah, I know, I changed throughout the years," they say, smiling. "You know, transitioning."

"But you know something?" I ask them, looking up.

They stared at me with confusion. "What do I know?"

"That you're still cute, young or not," I reply, touching my finger to their nose (boop~).

They just stared at me for a while, blushing lightly. "I'm not cute though," Kai finally responded.

"In my view, you are both cute and beautiful, no matter what anybody else says about you," I say, taking out my guitar, then I softly sang along with the notes.
