Chapter 1

"Dad, when would she ever light up the candles?" Lisa asked her father.

Her father is a famous chef in thailand that owns a five star restaurant located in Bangkok.

"What do you mean?" Her father asked, who was also aware of what Lisa was talking about. He was very supportive for her two daughters, even though they grew up somehow different from other teens. Ever since their mother left, he promised himself that his daughters happiness would always come first.

"Look, your sister knows what she's doing. Give her time to prepare for her Final decision." He said in a worried voice.

"They've been together for years Dad and she still has no plans to permanently be together with Miyeon" Lisa frowned which caused her father to chuckle.

"How about your plans with Jennie? Are yo-" his father's words were cut off when Lisa shouts.

"YAH! this is not about me Dad!!" Lisa shouted while hiding her Face behind her hands, making her father to laugh out Loud.

"What are you two talking about?" Minnie intterupted the two while letting out a wide smile. Seeing her father and her sister happily talking makes her happy as well. The pain she felt when their mother left was still there but she manages to endure it by doing her passion.

"Nothing much, your sister is just worried about you." His father said making Lisa lift up her head to face Minnie.

"Worried about me? Is that true? When did you ever care about me?" Minnie said jokingly.

"Yah Nicha, i'm just worried about your relationship with Miyeon. You guys have been together for years! And you haven't any plans in marrying her." Lisa exclaimed making Minnie to sigh deeply.

"It's because, i don't know it's just that i don't feel exited or the spark between us was long gone. But i still love her with all my heart. I'm confused okay!" Minnie said with frustrations. She still loves Miyeon but there is something missing everytime they are together.

"Okay okay jeez you're being sulky again! Moving on, i never get to ask what happened to your photography career what so ever." Lisa said changing the topic.

"It's kinda difficult to find clients at this time around. But i do get emails from different companies even though i'm on a break. I am also planning to go to Korea and stay at Miyeon's for a while" Minnie replied.

"That's great! It should give you time to think about your relationship. I really do hope you marry her. I really like Miyeon for my little Nicha" Lisa said then she gave Minnie a pat on the head.

"Whatever Lisa, you go do your business now. I'll be off today, i am meeting Shuhua at Dad's restaurant, she'll be staying in thailand for a week" Minnie said then signaled her father that she'll be leaving.
Shuhua is a taiwanese friend of Minnie, they met at an event in Taiwan. They've been friends for years and she is the most trusted friend of Minnie.

Her father's restaurant was a thirty minutes drive from their house which she finds great because it is less hassle. She even has her own parking space there.

When she was about to enter, she heared a loud shout that startled her.

"YAH KIM MINNIE!" Shuhua shouts while running towards Minnie.

"I missed you so much! How are you? You look amazing! How's photography? How are you and Miyeon?! Shuhua asked with full curiousity.

"Okay calm down! Let's sit down first. I miss you so much shushu." Minnie said then let out a giggle. They talked for hours, meeting Shuhua again made Minnie glad.
