Chapter 27

Miyeon's POV

It's Christmas day and i promised Lisa that i'll forget about my problems for a while because she wants me to enjoy. I couldn't help but to agree since I don't want my holidays to be the opposite of merriment.

All of the sudden, Lisa came in my room excitingly.

"MERRY CHRISTMAS MIYEON UNNIE!!" Lisa said with full energy.

"Merry Christmas Lalisa! Calm down!" I simply replied.

"Miyeon Unnie!!! Let's go to the amusement park!" Lisa said as she pulls my foot off the bed.

"Yah i thought we were just going to watch a movie at the mall?" I said, i only agreed to go to the cinema with her.

"Come on now Unnie, they have a discount and i want to ride the Ferris wheel!" Lisa begged.

"Fine fine, i'll get ready and you should too, you look like a Messy Lion with that hair of yours" I said, her hair was messy and it was obvious that she just woke up.

"I woke up two hours ago but I didn't leave my bed, i was scrolling down my feed and i saw that they have a Christmas promo!" Lisa replied, then i stood up and stretched my arms wide.

"I'll prepare myself now Lisa. Be gone!" I said then pushed her outside the door.
I closed the door and leaned on it.

When i was about to go to the bathroom i saw a small paper on the ground. I picked it up and there was a note.

'Go to the lake at exactly 5:45 pm. You know where to find me.'

I froze for a moment because I couldn't believe what i was reading. Is this true?? Who sent this? Is this note really from Minnie? I thought to myself.

My mood suddenly changed after reading the note, there was a smile that formed on my face. I couldn't explain the happiness that i'm feeling right now. I'm going to see Minnie! I am so exited! After how many days finally!

I hid the note inside the case of my phone then i went straight to the bathroom to take a bath. I became very hyper after reading the note. All of my sadness faded.

'This is it Kim Miyeon! After how many days you're finally gonna see Minnie again!' I thought to myself but then the image of Yuqi suddenly popped in my head. She's been invading my mind since yesterday, I can't help but to think about her and Minnie together. But i trust Minnie, she wouldn't do such a thing.

After that i went outside and dried myself up. I took out my favorite shirt and pants, I am still going to conceal myself because I am still worried that someone might be eyeing me. I applied light make up and took out my hat and mask, then i immediately went to Lisa's room. She was still getting ready though.

"That was fast Miyeon Unnie, I think you're more exited than me!" Lisa said as she applies lipstick.

"Yeah, something just came up and i don't know why but i feel exited all of the sudden!" I said then she stopped to look at me. Should i tell her that i'm going to meet Minnie later at the lake? Or no?

"Why? What is this something that just came up?" Lisa asked then looked at me blankly.

"Oh nothing, uhm, the Christmas spirit in me got triggered that's all!" I lied then she continued what she was doing. I didn't tell her about meeting Minnie because i was still thinking about it twice, i am not sure if Minnie really sent me the note. But it doesn't matter, i'll take the risk and wont allow Lisa to be involve.
