Forty-seven

"Good morning?" Pinitik nya ang ilong ko at ngumiti.

I smiled too. This is all I ever wanted.
Just as the dawn starts, I saw his smile.

"I do still remember things."

"Me neither." He raised his hands and smirked.

He looks at my eyes, and I can see it shining more than the rising sun. He's not speaking yet I can hear his voice louder than the chirping of the birds. I can feel his coldness more than the cold wind.

"I lost my heart just when you've been with me. It's all yours now."

He smiled.

"Stupid." I chuckled.

We both laughed.

He shrugged his shoulders and looked at me, "If that's how you say I love you... You're stupid too."

Napangiti ako ng tumayo sya. Niyakap ko ang sarili ko dahil sa lamig, medyo madilim pa pero kita na ang pasikat na araw.

I've never loved daybreaks this much.

"You're stupid, Autumn!" Sigaw nya ng malakas.

Natawa ako sa ginawa nya. Tumingin ako sa paligid, we are too high to be with others. Walang bahay, walang tao, kami lang.

"You're more stupid, Chill Gonzales!"

I knocked right through the air. Looks like we both have the guts and can shout during a cockrow, huh?

"You are the most stupid creature in the planet, at mahal kita!" Hindi ko pa sya nakikitang ngumiti ng ganyan.

Sobrang saya ko. And I don't know how to express it. I want to shout, I want hug him, I want to tell him that I would love him unendlessly.

"You're an alien, you invaded my heart so much that it wouldn't get out of your U.F.O, I can't take up my mind, I don't know what to say. I just want you to know that I won't ever leave you, because if that would be a part of the exams I have to take to be an official alienese, I would never ever leave you. Because your U.F.O wouldn't be complete without the little piece. Just like our hearts..."

I breathed deeply. I can see him smiling. You really are a bastard!

"It wouldn't be complete without us. My heart wouldn't be complete without the piece of it. Same as yours. And those fragments are us. We have to make it whole. It is only us, to make each other feel that a part of us, will stay and remain on each other."

He hugged me so tight that it almost took my breath.

"We are stupid, Chill."

He placed his forehead unto mine, looked into my eyes, and only waiting for his tear to drop-off but it didn't.

"We are inlove." He said.

Pinitik ko ang ilong nya at tumakbo.

"You like playing games? That was almost our moment." He raised his shoulders and facepalmed.

Tumakbo sya at hinabol ako, umakyat ako ng puno para hindi nya kaagad ako mahabol. Pero ng napagod na 'ko, umupo lang ako sa sanga at sinabi kong magpapahinga muna ako.

Napansin kong nakahawak sya sa ulo nya at yumuko lang sya. Tinakpan ng mga kamay nya ang mukha nya.

"Hoy. Ang drama mo, ano'ng nangyari sayo?"

I heard him laughed.

"Wala. Nahihilo lang ako, ang init kasi."

Bumaba ako ng puno at inaya na umuwi na 'ko. Hinatid nya 'ko pauwi at bago ako pumasok, niyakap nya muna ako.
