Nadia:

It was Saturday, Stevie was leaving in two weeks and today was the send-off party we planned for him; taking place at Tommy's house. Tommy's parents were generous enough and let us use the place for a stupid teenage party while they went on a date night. I adore those two, the amount of time they spend with each other, and still being able to love each other just like the first day when they couldn't even communicate properly. Plus Tommy's mom was a sweetheart unlike Frankie's mom whom, I had unfortunately ended up meeting, she was much like my own mother, if Deanna had a pretty well-paying job to support her, she would be a carbon copy of my mom. I sometimes secretly feel jealous of Tommy, especially when I see the way his mom cares for him and tells about how he was born after she went through multiple failed pregnancies. It's just.... it made me wish things were different.

The party would only start by evening but Tommy asked me to come earlier to help him with the preparation, honestly, what help could I do?

After knocking on the door to his house twice it opened to reveal... William?

"Heyy," He said wrapping me into a hug immediately which I reciprocated, I liked the warmth it provided every time we hugged, not necessarily a physical warmth but more like something equal to the feeling you get mentally as you stand under a warm hot shower. Like it was absorbing you as every drop fell on you, that's what William's hugs resembled. But it didn't last too long as we pulled away.

"Hey, so what are you doing here this early? Party isn't starting for another few hours." I said

"Yeah, I just thought I would come and help Tommy a bit." He said

Is he even into me anymore? Like yes, last week he did say he liked me, but I fucked that up. Now I feel like things are just starting to get 'friendly' between us and nothing more. The more I thought of it, the more I wanted it. It just feels like we would be great together, I kinda did like him, I guess. I tried calling him yesterday, taking Evie's advice, and to apologize for being an idiot that day in the car and for successfully fucking everything up, I wanted to say I liked him but that's when I realized their phone wasn't working, which meant he didn't pick up or listen to anything I said. Now that I think of it, thank the lords for not letting him hear that awful message. But anyway the girls did give me a good practice session of saying, 'I like you'. I could now say that and wouldn't seem as pathetic as I did in that call attempt.

"Yo, come inside! We have lots of work left to do!" Tommy said walking towards the door carrying a banner which said, 'love you Steven. Miss You'.

I walked inside and William shut the door behind me.

"Where's Atheena?" I asked

"With Steven, you know since he is leaving so they have to take a decision on if they should continue or not?" I nodded to Tommy's reply

"Do you guys really need my help? How about you guys finish it and in the end, I will say what corrections are to be made?" I said giving a wide grin

"N.O.P.E. Kitchen, now, both of you. There is a list there, which tells the work that needs to be done. I will be here doing the decorations."

As we walked into the kitchen and looked at the list. It was pretty simple, put the snacks into plastic bowls, get the drinks ready and make blueberry pancakes?

"Yo, Tommy, Why do you need blueberry pancakes for the party man. That's weird." I called out from the kitchen

"Because I LOVE THEM. I eat it when I want. Also, it's my party." He replied back from the living room, as I rolled my eyes

"You like pancakes right?" William asked taking out the mix

"Eww, no I hate it. I just hate all sweet stuff." I said, god thinking of sweets other than chocolate made me wanna gag.
