Nadia:

"Dude! What happened to your finger?" Tommy asked his eyes slightly bulging out of its socket as he took a drag of his cigarette pointing towards my left ring finger which now adorned a finger splint.

"David, my boss. He was trying to prove to me that chivalry exists and closed the car door for me. Except he managed to slam my finger too." I said making him chuckle and try to touch the finger split.

He was a nice guy but that man would surely make me go insane. One day when people walk through downtown LA they will see a girl in mid to late twenties running through the streets in high heels pulling at her hair screaming for the closest psych ward. I am that girl.

Now I can't even practice guitar or take classes. I started giving lessons to these two kids in Van Nuys on weekends.

"It hurts?" He exclaimed when I pulled my hand away. I knew the idiot was most likely gonna try to pull at the splint.

"Of course it hurts!"

"You always hurt your finger. Anyway, why did you wanna meet me?" He asked taking another drag of his cigarette as we sat in the VIP lounge area of the Cathouse.

Nikki had to meet one of his lawyers. This was about a crazy guy who claims he is the REAL Nikki Sixx.

I thought I would take the opportunity and come meet Tommy and confirm with him on if Nikki is going to propose. None of us spoke a word about that after Tommy confirmed my ring size also to make things worse I broke my finger. That too the finger on which I should be wearing an engagement ring. Because my boss and I had our regular nonofficial Saturday meeting.

"Look, I don't wanna beat around the bush. So I will get to the point... Is Nikki gonna propose?" I asked crossing my arms across my chest. To make myself seem a bit confident about my words. I felt nervous inside for some reason. Maybe I was nervous because what if... what if the answer was negative.

He bit his lip and stared at me for a second. His chocolate brown eyes fluttering across the room.

I just want you to say it.

"I don't know... why are asking this to me?!?" He laughed awkwardly downing his drink.

"Tommy. I am asking you one more time. Give me an answer as a yes or no. YES OR NO?!?" I asked with a bit of fake rudeness in my voice as I snatched his drink away from his hand.

"He will kill me." He cried running his hands through his hair in frustration. I just stared at him.

"If you won't say, I will be the one killing you. Either him or me, one of us is definitely gonna kill you. Either way, your death is fixed. So answer me." I glared at him

"You really wanna know? Just think about it, why take out the element of surprise?" He looked at me with puppy dog eyes.

"Yes."

"Fine, he is gonna propose. He, me, and Vince went together to select a ring two weeks back when we were in Sweden. Now don't ask me details about the ring!" He pouted

As much as I wanted to maintain a firm composure I couldn't stop myself from starting to grin like the dude from The Shining. I mean can you blame me? Just hearing those words from Tommy's mouth made my heart skip a beat and got my brain clouded with excitement.

"Did he tell when?" I asked not giving a damn of letting Tommy see my eagerness.

"No. I really don't know. He just said he will do it this month when he finds the right time. But with that broken finger, I don't know." He rolled his eyes as I finally gave him his drink back.
