23. Good Bye, Frankie

March 6th 1978-

William:

We have been together for about six months now, and it's been four months since I started living with her and Mick.

We have gotten really close in the past few months, of course not that we never fought, that was there obviously, at least one of us has to be the dickhead every once in a while, but later when you think of it, the reasons seem petty.

"Relax Dee. You will do fine." I said to her as I placed the glass of chocolate milk Mick asked me to give her. Tomorrow she had a physics test and she says she doesn't know anything. But I know she will do fine.

"Are you kiddin' me? This is the first time I am opening this book in months." She said nervously.

"There's nothing new about that." She would never actually study and pretty much wrap up the entire topic the night before the test and she always scores well except for that one time in math.

She glared at me before turning towards the book again.

I sighed, before placing my hands on her shoulder as I stood behind her and slowly leaning down until I heard her voice.

"What are you doing? Whatever it is stop it right now." She said sternly before looking back at the book and letting out a cry, "I am gonna fail!!!"

"No, you won't," I said as my lips made contact with her temple as she shook her head and continued to read as I slowly kissed the top of her head, then the side of her face, her cheeks, her jawline before finally landing at her neck at which point she closed the book and glared at me as I looked at her with an innocent smile. She has been sitting with that book for the past 16 hours and it is already almost 1. She needs to take rest.

"William stop distracting me... I need to study." She groaned before grabbing the book and moving towards the bed as I followed her.

"You have been studying. If you study more you will forget what you already know." I said before grabbing the book from her hand as she made futile attempts to snatch it back.

"Okay. I will ask you five questions, if you answer four correctly, you should understand you know everything and go to bed now if not I will give you the book." I said. Just kidding' I am not gonna give her the book back even if she doesn't get a single one right.

"Okay, explain to me what is Inertia?" I asked opening the book and reading the pages and feeling really happy that I didn't take physics. She started answering before we went on to the next question and she has already got the first three right. See! She knows stuff.

"Okay, displacement formula?"

"S = ut + (1/2) at^2" YESS, I was smiling though I couldn't understand what any of these laws and equations meant.

"What's Axl Vector?"

"It's Axial Vector." She corrected me as I looked down and realized it was Axial. So what's Axl?

"It is a quantity that transforms like a vector under a proper rotation, but in three dimensions gains an additional sign flip under an improper rotation such as a reflection."

I did not understand anything but that's what is written here.

"Look!! You got all of it right. Now go to sleep." I said as she gave me an unsatisfied look.

"I am not giving you the book," I said as she let out a deep sigh.

"Man I wasn't like this. Until this year, I used to study every day and I always knew stuff but now....... I can't believe I wasted the entire year." She groaned running her fingers through her hair and falling back onto the bed.
