Chapter 63

"Mommy, " Myles called from the living room.

"I'm coming,  munchkins, I'm just going to grab your orange juice and pop corn," I called out.

"Okay!" she thrilled.

I smiled at that.

Day one after Trench went MIA. I should be at work now in the restaurant but I received last night a call from the manager notifying me of my resignation. I was hesitant to gice my confirmation because of the fight I have with Trench. What if he suddenly become cold and told me he doesn't love me anymore? What if he suddenly demand a join custody of Myles ? What if he takes Myles away from me? Oh my god I could never function properly if he does that dreadful thought. No one has the right to take my daughter from me. They will have to walk over my dead body to take her. This is my treasure and half of my life, without her, it's like ripping me apart.

But I still trust Trench. He would never hurt me like that. He love me too much.

"Mommy, you are missing Maleficent, hurry up!" she screamed.

I sighed at her. We should be in the cupcake shop helping mom, but Charles and dad are already there to help her. They told me just to stay home and babysat my daughter.

Yesterday night when I went home sobbing and grieving, they didn't stop asking question until I finally tell them what really is happening. I told them the truth, all of it. There were arguments that lasted for an hour until mom and Mandy took my side and told the men to back off and let me have my way for once.

"Hmmm," my little company appreciated the smell of freshly popped popcorn.

"Sit here on my lap sweetie," I beckoned her to come closer. She would be a big mess again if I let her have the whole bowl. Toddler can't stay still, how many times I cleaned and picked up food on the floor and couch because Myles keeps moving.

"Is daddy going to visit again?" she asked.

I touched her nose before replying. "He will, but I don't know when munchkins,"

"Where is he now?" This is going to be one of those days when she keeps up with hundreds of questions.

"He is at work I guess." I couldn't tell her he was somewhere else trying to cool down because everything I told him is too much for him to handle. I hurt him so bad after all.

"He is always at work!" she whined, "I like when we visit the mall and he buys me things, and buy me chocolates, and drinks and cake,"

"And that big bear inside our room?" I raised my eyebrows at her grinning face. Our shared bed is just enough for us, but that big bear made it impossible to turn to your side. Myles wanted to cuddle it.

"And that!" she squealed, "Deedee said daddy will buy me anything I like!"

"He did"

"Yes, he did!" she stood up from my lap to clutch my face with both of her hands, "is he going to bring me to Disney World, mommy?" she gave me that do-you-think-so-mommy face.

"You got to ask him that when he visits," I chortled at her happiness. It's so easy to entertain a toddler and making them happy.

"But you will help me right?" she placed scattered kisses all over my face just to convince me to help her. "Please mommy please. I love you and daddy." I tickled her for taking her charm to the next level. What did Mandy teach Myles for her to act like this, charming her way. If isn't a crime to break such adorable kid's wish, I won't be faze. But it's Myles and I love her so much, so I will let her win.
