Chapter 96

Airstrike

TRENCH POV

The Fritzcole agency is so massive with their amazing technologies that the government has the sole right to buy. Everything in the building would make every affluent country to beg for a piece of it. This is where Chasen makes his billions every year. This is the second place where his wife Natalie could roam around without any higly trained bodyguards tailing every step she makes. I have only been here in this establishment twice in my life. The only people allowed here to visit are high ranking officials and Chasen’s family.

"Crevestovik," he greeted.

"Mr. Fritzcole," I replied back. The man was so intimidating I wonder how these workers here still managed to be around him.

"Follow me inside the control room," he beckoned.

We both trudge to where to guards stand beside an automatic double door. On our way, I catch a glimpse of Natalie who was busily chatting with a pregnant brunette woman. Does the wife know that we would be committing something that would probably disappoint her? Maybe that's why Chasen chose to have such meeting privately. For all I know, the man would back out faster than he can block my punch on his face. I almost snort in mirth at the very thought of him so fucking whip.

The control room was pack with some high ranking officers. Their stars patched on their coats could have said a lot of greatness coming from them.

"Trench I want you to meet Mr. Fanning former director of the FBI and Mr. Mackinon commander of the airforce. This is Collins, my birdman, he is the one who dismantled the scoundrels' computer protection. We already hacked every mobile phone and computer in this compound here," Chasen pointed at the edge of Texas where a single brick house is. "These enemies of yours had been dealing with illegal substances and exporting high value guns. As of the moment, the partners in Mexico are in sight. We will exterminate them too at the same time we take out the men after your family."

"How do we do this?" I asked.

"Not the way your father and the whole Crevestoviks in Russia take matters in their own hand, I'll assure you that," he leered.

Control Trench..... Control

Breathe.....just breathe.....

"We will bomb them, the more we do it conspicuously the more the media won't concoct their twisted story. There aren't innocent victims inside the building just criminals," he said without any mercy at all.

"That's alright with me," I replied, not at all bothered with the numbers of death.

"Lunch the rockets, Mr. Mackinon," Chasen directed the command to the high officer. What the fuck is he not gonna show his respect to the commander?

"Very well," he said before ordering whoever is on the other line of his speaker.

The monitor showed a single jet zooming closer to the target before it lunches two bombs. The explosion was so intense, huge fire engulfed the whole house.

"Send the military drone to assess the place Collins," Chasen told the rimmed glasses man manning the computer.

"Drone is on the way, boss,"

The capabilities of the drone could put X-ray machine into shame. It could detect bodies whether living or not. In this case, no one was left alive. All if not burnt or exploded into tinsy bit.

"Are you sure that the Moores are there?" I asked.

"Yes," Collins answered, "I had the video before the rockets are launch -here," he pointed at James who was walking to a vaulted room and Austin who was playing with a very dangerous gun. Then the video went blank.

"It's done, Trench, I do hope you do your end of the bargain," Chasen's glowering eyes are straightly looking at me. "I risked going behind my wife to assist you. She does not want any form of violence, Trench but I allowed this just to make her happy so you better do your job properly because trust me I will bring you down without even breaking a sweat," he threatened.

"I will but remember what I said about going beyond greeting and meeting nothing else Chasen,"my tone was firm when I blurted out that condition.

"Natalie simply request exactly what you implied Crevestovik don't worry about it. Now come on I don't want her coming in here with this view," he pointed out at the destruction in the monitor.

The officials still remained inside the control room while Chasen and I trudged in the direction of his wife who is now eating a snack with a small boy.

"Sweetheart, son," Chasen greeted at the two.

"Dad," the blue eyed boy greeted.

He looks fine alright but not the best for Myles in my perspective.

"Oh Trench! How are you? It's been two days since the wedding aren't you suppose to be in your honeymoon?" Natalie chatted. Her husband glued himself beside her like a fracking panda. Seriously the dude is too clingy and he might as well transform into a boa constrictor so he could be an added decoration on his wife's waist.

"Sum and I decided to have it next month Natalie, the babies are our priority at the moment," I replied.

"That's so wonderful! What brought you here? This softy cuddle bear here invited you to a business meeting?" she asked.

I have to stop the twitch of my lips to prevent it smiling in wickedness at the description she bombarded in front of me. Chasen frowned a bit at the sweetly name.

"Yes, ma'am," I retorted.

"That's great news but you should have brought that adorable daughter of yours or your wife so we can chat," she expresses in excitement. "This is Chance my son, isn't he like my bear here?" she proceeded on pinching her husband's hard cheeks.

What would I give to snap some pictures of the ruthless tycoon? His face is quite comical right now.

"Hello sir," Chance greeted in courtesy.

At least the boy is polite unlike his father. I hope he has his mom's kindness.

"You should have seen his daughter Chance she is so cute," Natalie giggled, "I hope you don't mind them meeting, Trench?"

"Mom!" Thank heaven the boy protested.

"I mean not now silly when both of you grow up," she laughed but I could swear I started sweating at her request.

Chasen’s face had contorted in a threatening way warning me not to upset his precious wife who was now trying to convince Chance to consider the thought.

"Dad?" the boy whined at his father when he couldn't override the mother's enthusiasm.

"Don't put me on this one son," he wiped off his hands faster than I thought. Fucking coward.

"I wonder why I even bother seeking your help to go against mom," Chance grumbled, "you are helpless."

Chasen smiled guilty at his son's defeated face. "Your mom is the queen, son"

"But you are the boss here," the boy pointed out.

"Actually it's your mom," he chuckled.

"Mom?"  the boy protested.

"Give it a chance...see like your name," Natalie celebrated then she bombarded her son's cheek with kisses. He protested of being a big boy now so unnecessary pecking are not anymore required, yet he didn't give a damn effort prying off his mother's hand off his head. He stayed still sighing and smiling at Natalie's blissful face.
