Chapter  75

The search for my perfect wedding gown needed to be postpone for several months, maybe after I gave birth to my babies. Yes, you heard that right. Babies. It's been three months since my doctor announces the ultrasound detected two heartbeats when I was four months pregnant. I was shocked. Trench was shocked. Everyone in our family even my friends were shocked of the news when we dropped it to them. Stella, Trench's mom even dropped at seven in the morning to visit us. She was so happy with grandkids surrounding by the looks of her excited face greeting me before wrapping in a hug while Myles hitched on her waist. Tara on the other hand, almost didn't want me to leave her side when we are in the company whil we talk about pregnant stuff as we surround ourselves with food. Myles was with her grandma and daddy checking all the department of the company, making sure that everything is in the right place.

Whenever me and my daughter weren't in the company, we take our time inside the Welsh cupcake shop that is now progressing at a faster rate than I had ever known. Charles had been out of town for twice a week now to manage the three new Welsh cupcake shop from near by towns. He was embracing all the challenges, changes and very busy life. Despite that he manage to find his own apartment near the shop; a stratigical location according to him. His reasons, easy access to delicious food.

The security around my daughter and I is still heightened, thanks to Trench paranoia. Although, at one time I saw him bothered with something in his phone. He wasn't telling me anything though, which made me a bit annoyed for his secrecy. With the pregnancy hormones keeping my mood swing unstable, he was the only person catching all of my hysteria. It almost got out of control when I confronted him about his regular cell phone check, that happens every morning.

He doesn't want me to worry because of my health situation. My answer was don't give me that kind of crap, to which he growled in irritation at my constant nagging. I end up sleeping beside Myles that time and refused to acknowledge the begging man to come back in our bedroom. But still his answer after two days of our misunderstandings was vague as his repetitive words of 'it makes me peaceful if I knew I have mens keeping you safe all the time.'

"Sum, do you want some sponge cake?" mom yelled out inside the kitchen of the shop. "Eat while waiting for the girls to come in their walk in the park." She rolled her eyes at the thought. We both know the girls wouldn't stop their park adventure if their clothes weren't that dirty.

"The three guards would have their patients tested with those tw-"

"Make that four mom, we both know Nikki and Macy will join the two," I interrupted.

"My gosh they will eat a lot again! Those girl had serious app-"

Cling cling. The bell on the front door told us there were people coming in. But the sound of laughter and squeals told us the girls are here.

Myles disheveled face came into view first. She's sweaty, stinky, muddy and her hair was sticking everywhere. Snowdust too was covered with dried mud. That dog was now taller than Myles, and he became very protective when it comes to his owner.

"Mommy! We had a lot of fun and we have this muddy war. It was so fun!" she squealed rubbing her dirty dress  against my dress.

"And you looked like you rolled on the mud, sweetie, and you stink. Ew..." I crunched my nose just to emphasized it.

"We run and run co'z Nikki and Macy were chasing Deedee and I! Snowdust helped us though, he wrestled Macy and sat on her knees!"

"And that was cheating," Macy and Nikki scowled at Myles truimphant smile.
