Trench POV

Mid seventh months of my fiancée's pregnancy and she looks like she was about to give birth. The twins kept moving inside her womb especially in the ungodly hour of the morning. Summer wasn't the only one suffering from being woken up because those wicked boys had the uncanny ability to target their mommy's bladder. That leads her to waking me up to help her sit up and shadow her every step to the bathroom. The way she waddle kept me at edge. She might look like she was about to fall off out of balance. I appointed two guards always beside her just in case I wasn't with her. But the thing is, she started coming with me in the office because I beg her to. In that way, I am always near her if she wanted assistance.

"Myles is with her grandma Stella again?" Sum asked me as soon as I entered my office where she was resting and savoring donuts and fresh picked strawberries.

Right, mom had called to tell us that she was going to pick up Myles's from her school and visit Tara and little Trey. My father would be there too trying very hard to keep up with his grandkids. I wanted to protest from the idea of my father being in the picture but Sum did a great deal convincing me to let Myles hangout with them. Let mom deal with dad, and trust her to bite off her husband's head if he displays his aristocrat attitude. 

For the past days after Marty's wedding, mom had been in control and growled at people who wasn't doing their jobs properly. Gorge, Rupert and I had tasted her very rare outburst just a day ago. It still gives us the uneasiness whenever she joined us in the office, I tell you.

"Yeah, she's having a blast by the looks of it. Father just gave her gifts worth of four years he had messed up," I was still bitter when it comes to him. "She had a new puppy, a terrier by the looks of it. Parker told me she and her dogs are enjoying running around Tara's living room."

"What are the other gifts?" Sum dunk a red looking strawberry in the whip cream before biting it off.

"A diamond pack tiara and a customized mini Ipad that is made out of gold,"

Sum blink in shock at the expensive jewelries. I bet she had never imagined our daughter pampered with such luxuries when she gave birth to her. Yet, this is what Myles's is destined with as soon as she came into our world. Sooner or later I would have had found out about her true identity when I decided to come back to face Summer for the first time in years after our fall out. My mindset was just willed in stubborn way to get Sum back no matter what. And I was thankful for my persistence,  without it I would never had known my goofy daughter. Without it, I wouldn't be engaged to my sweet love here and she would never carry my lovely twins. 

I didn't want to suffer what Ivan had lost. His crestfallen face was hard to look at but it was his damn fault all along. There's no turning back now when Marty is already happily married and Fernando seems like a guy who is so territorial of what he have.

"They could have given her simple things, " Sum mumbled.

"Father don't know what simple thing is, love, remember he is an aristocrat who was used to luxurious things. I'm thankful you grew up middle class and knows how to deal with money or Myles would grow up being the most spoilt brat in the world. Trust me, I could never say no whenever she request something."

"I don't want her growing up like that, like she was high above others. I wanted her to respect everyone and display how humble she is. She might be mischievous but we both know how she loves sharing everything she had, and still address old people with respect," Summer chatted proudly.
