Chapter 93

Trench POV

The party was coming to an end with the visitors congratulating us one more time this night. After my conversation with Chasen, Sum had been giving me this anxious look. I couldn't have the courage to placate her since my mind is still buzzing with indecision. What am I going to choose? Would it really harm my daughter to meet the fu....the son of that violent person? What if he has his father's sickening attitude? Fuck! So help me god I will go on war against his family.

But what if the boy has Natalie's kind nature? Yes, the wife has always had an influence when it comes on decision making. Chasen still acquired his wife's guidance because the husband would always spearhead whatever damn decision he makes whether wise or not.

Breathe Trench....

It's just meeting and greeting nothing else....

They are still kids and the Fritzcole kid would not want someone young enough to be his sister, right?

Fuck what am I thinking forwarding to that scenario! No. It's just a normal hello like kids do nowadays. Nothing so serious.

"Trench..." Sum mumbled beside me when I failed to pay attention to the Coltons in front of me. Eisel sneered at my inattention while his parents greeted us longevity of being husband and wife.

Fucking prick.

I'll punch that smug face of his.

"My best wishes to you beautiful lady," he had the fucking nerve to throw my wife a flirty smile. He then narrowed his eyes when we stared eye to eye. I didn’t miss glowering at him too. "Crevestovik," he leered.

"Prick," I whispered for his benefit before throwing his parents a warm thank-you-for-coming smile.

Eisel rolled his eyes then followed his parents to the limo waiting for them. That's  a wise move he made because I'm sure to brawl with that arrogant single father to the bones. I feel mercy to the girl who will end up with the prick. He is just so full of himself all the fracking time.

"Are you alright?" my wife asked me quietly.

"Yeah....just had things to think through don't worry about it," I appeased her worries.

"I saw that not so relax conversation between you and Natalie's husband so don't you dare brush off what I witness honey," she challenged.

"We will talk about it later," I breathed a sigh. There's no really use keeping something from my wife here since it would end dreadful if she clash against me again. Frankly, this situation is between the two of us as it involves our precious daughter.

I sighed.....

This night should not be tainted by any complications coming from some people but Natalie have unfortunately picked my little princess. It's not that I blame her for noticing Myles as the little girl is so adorable even my strong willed dad turned helpless dealing with his granddaughter.

But really....

Does Natalie have to choose her in this ridiculous meet up with her son? Urgh.... Come on Chasen override your wife please.

Yet even I know the answer to that because the former soldier couldn't have the strength to ever put a sad face on Natalie.

Summer's hands pulled me again to where my in laws are. They are at the moment smothering goodnight kisses on their grandchildren. The twins frowning at their grandma Marsha when she aggressively scattered pecks all over their faces.
