Chapter 40: Ashton's POV (Part 3)

I know that I'm bound to marry Nicole here but I don't want to do that shit. Kahit hindi naman totoo ang mundong ito ay ayoko pa rin. I hate drama.

Pero mukhang wala akong choice. I did everything to get out of that. Sadyang ang hirap lang baliin ng napagkasunduan noon. I even talked to the King and Queen, but they didn't listen to me.

What should I expect? They are not even my real parents.

Gusto kong maging bayolente nang makita ko siyang punong-puno ng mga sugat at pasa. I just calmed myself because I need to bring her first in the nearest hospital.

Nang patago kong tinignan ang cellphone niya ay napipikit ako sa nabasa. She was texted by an unknown number claiming that it was me. Hindi na ako nagdalawang isip na puntahan ang siguradong may pakana nito.

"What are you doing?"

Kung hindi ko lang pinigilan ang sarili ko ay nasuntok ko na siya. I will not forgive him for what he did to Tanaiah.

"Pardon, Your Highness?" Tumayo si Archduke Marcus mula sa kanyang inuupuan. I badly want to punch the face of this man right now.

"Alam kong ikaw ang may gawa no'n kay Princess Tanaiah."

Ngumisi siya. "I warned you already. If you're not going to do what I want, that's what going to happen."

I didn't tell Tanaiah. I need to figure out first what exactly that message is for.

I immediately turned off the TV when I saw a picture of her picture being kissed by Daryl's asshole cousin. I felt rage not because of the idea of her cheating on me. I know she's not capable of that. Nagagalit ako dahil ilang beses pala siyang pinilit ng gagong 'yon.

The next day, Nicole went to my room.

"What are you doing here?" I asked when I opened the door and it revealed her.

"May I come?"

Nagtaas ako ng kilay.

"You're not answering my calls earlier. I've thought that you're hurt because of the news about Tanaiah and the Director."

Yes, I'm hurt. Not because of that shit, but because I'm hurting my Princess.

"I just want to check on you," mahina niyang sabi.

"I'm fine, Nicole."

"Hmm. Can I watch a movie with you inside? As a friend."

Tinitigan ko lang siya. She has been a friend to me. She had a tough life because of her family, and especially because of her father who's evil and greedy for the throne. As much as I want to push her because I know I'll never reciprocate what she's feeling for me, hindi ko na lang ginawa.
