You may be the type of person who wishes to have a similar story you admire. Or maybe the type of person who has already given up that there would be such stories in real life but... a part of yours is still secretly hoping.

Who would not hope for a story that ended so great? We hope for a story in real life that would give us relief. That would bring us a rainbow after the heavy rains. That would make us feel like we are on cloud nine after being in solid rocks for long. That would make us feel like in a fairy tale that managed to get through all the challenges brought by the villain like what we've always read in a book.

Some stories we've read may not be a literal fairy tale but sometimes, it resemble. The prince and princess still made it until the end of the story even there's a villain who tried to make them apart. They still had their happy ending.

It's the happy ending that always lures us, readers, right? Kapag maganda ang ending, nevermind how the journey went, we would wish that we also experience it in our lives. Maybe for some, sinasabi nila na imposible namang mangyari 'yon sa totoong buhay, that it's too good to be true, so they won't have any expectation anymore. But at the back of their minds, they still do. There's still a tiny little voice inside their heads wishing, "sana ako rin," or "sana sa istorya ko rin."

'Yung iba naman, if possible, they would want to be in the favorite book they enjoyed. They would want to be in the shoes of the fictional character they admire to at least experience the things that their loved ones are making them feel. I know you can imagine yourself genuinely smiling, but with a little envy everytime you read a heartwarming scene that the fictional characters did in a story.

However, masarap man pumasok sa isang kwento pero hindi na kailangan dahil nararanasan din naman natin in real life 'yung nararanasan ng mga bidang ating hinahangaan. We're also experiencing what we are reading and sometimes... we just fail to notice it.

Our life is also a living book. We are the characters of our own stories. We do have different plots and that's what makes our own stories interesting.

You think you can't afford to fall in love right now because of the circumstances? Hindi pa ba kayo pwede? You think he/she's not the right person yet? Is he/she out of your league?

These questions might be the foundation of your own plot. You don't need to compare your own beautiful and unique story to others, or hope for a story like what you've read in a fiction book. You have your own, so live it. Live your own fairy tale story.

Don't be sad if you still haven't met your own prince/princess. Malay mo, nasa prologue o mga unang chapter pa lang ang kwento mo at sa susunod pa magpapakita 'yung "the one" mo. So, don't spoil your story. Don't get excited about the next chapters.

But both of you would still have a long chapter to go. There would still be a villain---might be a person, time, situation---that will test you, so you better be strong and hold on to each other. You can make your love the foundation of your relationship, but don't overlook the other factors as well. You need patience, trust, and loyalty.

Also, a story could have a lot and different plot twist. So, don't look at yours as not interesting or just full of struggles. Savor every chapter of yours. You will never know what there's to learn because you skip the conflict. It might be connected to the biggest plot twist of your life.

Just keep going until you reach the last chapter, like how Tanaiah Cuellar and Ashton Fuentes reached theirs. And like what they've learned, a dream fairy tale will not be found in a fiction story but in real life. You don't need a literal fairy tale. You're already a princess/prince in your real-life story. You just have to realize it.
