the small argument that started off as a joke unexpectedly turned into a heated one. There were some words that were said that affected both of them. Of course, neither one of them meant to say those to each other but anger just took over.
"you know what, it's my fault for worrying too much."
"don't be like that, I'm sorry."
"Sorry doesn't justify the way you spoke to me. You promised. You wouldn't talk to me that way. But, you did it anyway." she said
Not being able to handle it anymore, she walked out leaving jungkook all alone with regret. She closed the door as she flopped down on the bed closing her eye shut.
on the other side of the room, jungkook was leaning his head against the door, on the verge of tears himself. He really was joking around but things got out of hand.
He was taken aback by things that were said. Like any other couple, they had misunderstandings and disagreements but they never got out of hand like this. Considering the way she talked to him, he realized that she wasn't okay.
These days he's been using her as a punching bag for all the crap that he's been going through. BTS's breakthrough was great. It really was but along with the great amount of fame, it took a toll on the boys. All of them were overworked. Jungkook hated seeing his brothers this way. Unconsciously, he was putting all his frustrations on his girlfriend. Feeling bad for his choice of words, jungkook entered the room hesitantly, ready to ask for forgiveness.

She was crawled up in her bed, staring at the floor. She looked broken. A piercing pain hits my chest, damn near causing me to stumble. My sane side told me I didn't deserve her but the other side was selfish. I want her all to myself.
"baby? Can I come in?"
she finally looked at me.
"I've been fucking everything up, haven't I? I don't know what's wrong with me. I really don't. I just. Please don't leave me. I know I was an ass." She stripped me of all reasoning. She will get anything she wants from me. I knelt down beside her.
she stayed silent for a while before stroking my hair gently.
"I understand how you feel and how stress can make you act impulsively in the spur of the moment. I've been thinking of all the times I might've said some unkind words at you while I was upset or under pressure."
Her voice indicated how much she cried, breaking my heart even more. I felt the need to cry, but I decided not to say anything. Desperately wanting to know how she feels.
"I'm okay koo. stop looking at me like that." that's all she says.
Her answer was a lie, I know it was. she's far from okay but she won't admit that to me. I take her hands in mine before kissing them.
"Are we okay?"
"yes, we are."
She bit her plump lips as I rest my forehead against hers and stare into her eyes.
I smiled slowly leaning in to kiss her. she pulled me closer eager for more. I caress her cheeks, removing any tears that still lingered on her face.
Her warm breath softly touches my chest as I moved my hand over her waist. No matter how bad an argument got, I always needed to hold her close.

Things were fine for a few weeks but, She stopped visiting him so much, texting him and it was safe to say things were going down the hill for them. a few more weeks passed just like that and without having a clue she was unintentionally shattering his heart. Jungkook wiped off his sweat with a small towel before sitting down and massaging his temples. He hasn't been sleeping well which lead him to overthink about silly little things making them into bigger problems in his head. "you good?" he lifted his head to see hoseok looking at him. "yeah, just tired." by the way his hyung sighed it was clear that he knew the younger one was lying.
Well, jungkook was never the type to speak out what he's going through unless he absolutely needed to. "umm...how's Hanna? haven't seen her around." hoseok asked jungkook hesitatingly. "yeah, she's busy these days." jungkook muttered.
"Are you sure there's nothing else going on?" namjoon intervened. Jungkook sighed before replying.
"I- I'm not sure. I... I thought everything's fine. But I don't think she's okay. And she won't talk to me about it...she's been distant. We were arguing a lot before. And she hasn't really been herself.. what if I... What if.."
"maybe you should talk to her? What if she's struggling with something else and...couples fight jungkook, it's normal. let's not assume things....just- just talk to her. I'm sure she will open up to you when she's ready to talk."
"Yeah, There's no doubt she adores you."

sungwoo and Hanna sat on the couch watching jaehwan flirt with jisoo. "right in front of us!" sungwoo jokes making gagging sounds.
"and she's flirting back!" Hanna looks at them, amused.
"Is everything okay with you?" sungwoo nudges his sister.
"why would you ask me that?" she narrows her eyes at him.
"can't I worry for my baby sister?"
Hanna chuckles darting her eyes back at the couple.
"fine. jungkook asked me. he's worried about you."
"honestly... I don't really know. I was going to talk to him about it but we ended up...." sungwoo got the hint by the red hue that crept on her cheeks.
"that's just great. my baby sister and my colleague shagging up." he massages his temples dramatically.
"Seriously though, I think you'll feel better once you talk to someone. well, gukk. but anyone of us is willing to help you out, you know that right?"
