Chapter 11: The Temporary CEO

Rosé's Pov

Our exams have been finished and our summer vacations have been started. Yaayy

Finally, we all went back to our homes. Man, I've missed home. I remember when I was 15 I left home. It has been so long. I'm 18 now, its been 3 years. Ahh, I miss everyone. Let's go. After this, I headed towards the airport so I can go back. 

Rosé reached the airport and is currently waiting for her flight. After 15 mins, she boarded the plane and now is ready to go home.

It's been 2 hours and I've reached. Finally, I miss everyone so much. I ran towards the house door and saw my parents and my sister waiting for me. I quickly hugged everyone and got a little emotional. 

"Eomma, It's been so long I missed you all a lot," I said. "It's fine dear now you are home. Have you been eating well? What about your University" My mom said. "Umm it's going fine and I have been eating well plus I made many friends and they all are so kind. I love them." I said. "It's good that you are happy". My dad said. 

After this, I went to my house. Then, after having dinner with my family we started talking. I got to know that my sister got a boyfriend. I'm quite happy for her. After this, my parents said, "I should also get a boyfriend". " Eomma, Appa I'm way too young to get a boyfriend." They keep on pushing me but luckily I made some excuses and got them away from this topic.

After a week my parents had to go to Germany for our company's project so I was left alone as my sister also had to go somewhere with her boyfriend. My parents said that in the meantime I'll be the temporary CEO. So I went to our company and started working. At first, everyone objected to why I as the CEO since I'm young and didn't take an interest in the business. When I first became the temporary CEO, everyone in the company talked behind my back. They said things like why her, she is so ugly and she is not even intelligent. I would have been a better CEO than her.

Just in a few days, I showed what I'm capable of to the company. The senior management was quite supportive of me and I was glad I could earn their favor. I managed the company quite well. I was confident anyway. Managing the company was good practice for the future. I learned many things.

After some time, my parents arranged a blind date for me. I was angry at them. Why did they do it without me knowing? But I had to go. I went I saw the guy. His name was Jaehyun. I went to him and introduced myself. He also introduced himself. I talked with him about interests etc. Then I said, "I don't wanna marry you nor date you. You have a nice personality but I can't I'm sorry." He said, "oh it's fine actually I have someone I like so I can't marry u too. So can we be friends?  You said, "Sure why not". 

After 2 weeks, my parents returned. I told my parents about how I handled the company and gained the senior management's favor. I also told them about the blind date.  They said," It's fine if you don't wanna have a boyfriend now but please you should get a good guy as a boyfriend. We are worried about it". I said, "Don't worry I'll get a trustworthy guy as my boyfriend." I reassured them. I know as parents, they have many responsibilities. So it's hard for them too.
