Unexpected

Meredith and the other residents waited for the message from the Medical Board to tell them if they passed or not. They knew they wouldn't get the message until at least 11:59 so they decided to go to Merediths house and wait it out. "I definitely didn't pass. I puked during it. PUKED." Meredith said panicking. "Mer if anyone failed that's me." Alex said rambling. It was now 11:58. "Take your phones out guys. We are about to see if we passed or not." Cristina said. They all took their phones out. "I passed" Alex said. "I passed too" Cristina said. "So did I" Jackson said. "Me too" April said loudly. "Mer?" They all asked. "I PASSED" Meredith said loudly. "We need to drink" Meredith said as they grabbed all the tequila and alcohol that was in Merediths house. "I'm just going to get hella drunk" Cristina said loudly. The others agreed, "I don't know if I'm going to drink to much. Last night I barely drank any tequila and I was puking my guts out this morning. Mer said quietly. 2 hours passed it was now 2 am. Derek didn't get to cuddle with Mer or give her a nice bubble bath yet because he got called into and emergency surgery. "Hey Mer" Derek said as he walked in the house seeing all of the other residents passed out. "Hey". She said quietly. "Why aren't you passed out like them?" He asked. I just don't feel well" She replied. "Let's go get you a nice warm bubble bath" Derek said as him and his wife made their way upstairs. "We all passed" Mer said happily. "That's great" he answered as he turned the water on. Derek grabbed the bubble bath as he added some to the warm water. "Mer the bath is ready" he said as he grinned. "What would I do without you Der" she asked. Meredith got undressed as she got in the nice warm bath. Derek got Merediths favorite pajamas as she soaked in the bath. "Are you ready to get out" Derek asked her. "Yeah can you hand me a towel" she added. "Yeah." He said as he handed it to her. "Your pajamas are over here. I'm going to go grab some ice water I'll be right back" Derek said. Meredith got dressed in her favorite pajamas and then went over and laid down on her bed as she waited for Derek. Derek walked into the bedroom. He handed Mer some ice water. As he went and laid down next to her. "I really really missed you" Meredith sighed. "I really really missed you too"  Derek said as he held Meredith close. Meredith moved her head onto Dereks chest. She missed laying like this, it made her nights better. "Goodnight" Meredith said. "Goodnight" Derek said as he planted a kiss on Mers forehead.
