It was now 2 weeks after Meredith and Derek found out they were having another baby. Today they had an appointment with the OB to see how far along she is and to make sure everything is ok. They also had to get Amelia from the Airport at 12 so right after the appointment. Meredith and Derek got all the kids dressed and ready to go. Callie drove Zola to school with Sofia so all Meredith and Derek had to do was wait for the nanny to get to the house to watch the twins. Once the nanny arrived Meredith made sure she was situated and knew what to do and then left to go to the hospital. It was 8 am and Meredith and Derek were working until 11 am so they could get to the OB and then to the airport. A trauma came into the ER and Owen instructed Meredith to scrub in on but she knew she wouldn't have time. "I can't scrub in" Meredith sighed because she didn't want anyone knowing about her being pregnant. "May I ask why" Owen replied. "I have a patient coding in post op" She lied. "Ok page Bailey" Owen screamed at a nurse. Meredith wanted to scrub in but she knew she wouldn't make it to the OB in time. She did charts and checked on her post ops until it was 10:55 then she paged Derek to the OB floor. She met Derek in an exam room and she sat on the bed waiting for Dr Herman. A couple minutes later Dr Herman walked into the room. "Dr Grey, Dr Shepherd, figured I would see you again" She laughed. She asked Meredith some question about her morning sickness and other stuff and then she took an ultrasound. "So Meredith, that is your baby. It looks to be about 6 weeks and 3 days" Dr Herman smiled. Meredith and Derek sat there looking at the ultrasound screen admiring their new baby. It looked like a little Jelly Bean because it was still small. "It's looks perfectly healthy and strong" Dr Herman said writing down some things. "That's good" Derek chuckled. "So Meredith if there is any pain or if you think anything is wrong you know how to contact me. I'm prescribing you some prenatal vitamins and some medicine to help with your morning sickness. Do you have any questions?" The doctor asked. "Nope" Meredith smiled and with that Doctor Herman left the room. "I'm so excited" Meredith squealed. "Me too" Derek laughed. It was now 11:20 so they were leaving to go get Amelia hand in hand. Derek got in the drivers side and Mer got in the passenger side of the car. Derek placed his hand on his wife's thigh and started driving towards the airport. A couple of minutes later Amelia came running out of the terminal. "Derek" She yelled running into her brothers arms. "Meredith" she yelled hugging her. "I missed you guys so much" she smiled. Meredith and Derek giggled. They got in the car and Amelia sat in the back. "Sooo" Amelia said breaking the silence. "What" Meredith giggled. "How have you guys been" Amelia asked. "Good" Derek replied Meredith nodded her head. "That's good. How's my nieces and nephew" She questioned. "Good actually" Meredith replied. Amelia was so excited to be back in Seattle and so excited to see her nieces and nephew again.

Quick A/n (please read)
This next chapter will mostly be Amelias  POV so I'll write 'Amelias POV' so you know it's hers. After I do Amelias POV it will just be Narrators POV for the rest of the story most likely but I need to have just Amelias POV for something. And I'm sorry that these recent chapters have been short. I have been trying to think of what to write to make this story more interesting so I'm trying to add at least 2 chapters a day even if they are short. Anyways I hope you are enjoying this story. I'm not sure when I will end this but I'm not thinking about ending it any time soon just so you know 💖
