Unexpected

Amelia

Amelias POV:
When I got off the Airplane I was so excited to see Mer, Derek and the kids I missed them so much. I got in the car with Meredith and Derek and I sat in the back. I was so happy when my brother married Meredith she is amazing for him. We drove to their 'dream house' which is amazing by the way, and when I got in I set my stuff in the guest room and then go to see Ellis and Bailey knowing they are here with the nanny. After I spent time with the babies Derek, Mer and I were going to the hospital so I could see if I could get privileges to work for the 2 months I'm visiting. When we got there Derek got paged so it was just Mer and I. We talked to Chief hunt who is amazing and he gave me some privileges. This was my first time actually working here so I needed a tour which Meredith took me on. When we got to the attendings lounge I noticed something about Mer and I know it's kind of weird that I noticed this but I've seen enough pictures of her and Derek to notice. Her stomach was a little bigger and her breasts. I mean I don't want to say anything just in case I'm wrong but I'm 100% sure she is pregnant. I didn't want to say anything but once something is on my mind I can't get it off and then I just blurted it out. "Mer, are you pregnant" I asked. "Uh what" she asked nervously. "Never mind I'm sorry I'm just gonna go" I rambled. "Amelia. I am" She smiled. "What" I squealed and ran to hug her "Oh my god another baby!" I happily shouted. "Shh Amelia we aren't supposed to tell anyone" Meredith shushed me. "Shoot, sorry" I giggled. "H-how did you know?" she questioned. "Well I have 3 sisters which I've seen pregnant each time. And you're kinda showing" I shrugged. "Oh" she laughed.
