Unexpected

It was now 5 years later. The twins turned 5 about a month ago and Zola just turned 7. All of their kids were super smart. One Tuesday morning Meredith got woken 1 hour before she had to get the kids up for school by Bailey coming in her and Dereks room. "Mommy" he said. "What" she replied sleepily. "I don't feel good" he sighed. "What hurts" she asked. "My head and stomach" he replied. "Go grab the thermometer" Meredith stated. Bailey went into the bathroom and grabbed the thermometer. He walked back out to his mom and she put it in his mouth. A few seconds later it beeped. "101.4" Meredith sighed. "Try to go back to sleep for a bit, I'm not going to work today and you aren't going to school" she said. "Ok" Bailey said as he started going back to his room. Ellis and him don't share a room anymore so he didn't wake her. Meredith fell back asleep until the alarm to wake the kids up went off. When the alarm went off she sat up in bed while Derek just laid there. "Der wake up" she said sleepily. "I'm up" he replied. "Bailey is sick he had a fever of 101.4 so him and I are staying home today. We need to wake the girls up" Meredith sighed. "Ok, I'll get Ellis" Derek said as he stood up and walked towards her room. Meanwhile Meredith got Zola up and told her to get ready then she went to check on Bailey. "Hey bails how are you feeling" she asked as she kissed his forehead. "I feel really sick" he replied not sounding like himself. "You sound sick, we can cuddle and watch movies all day today if you want" Meredith said trying to make him feel better. "Really" his face lit up. "Of course" Mer laughed. "You need to get in the car so we can take the girls to school though and then we will watch movies" she said as she got up. "Ok mommy" he laughed. Meredith walked down into the kitchen where Derek, Ellis and Zola were seated eating breakfast. "Hi honey" Derek said as he kissed her forehead. "Hi" she smirked. "Good morning Ellie" Meredith said. "Morning mommy" Ellis replied. "Good morning zozo" Meredith said. "Morning Mom" Zola said as she went back to reading. After the kids ate breakfast Meredith got them in the car and on their way to school while Derek got ready for work. "Bye Zozo, bye Ellis" Meredith said as the 2 girls got out of the car. "Bye mom" they said. "Ok bails let's get you home and watch a movie" Meredith said as she pulled out of the school parking lot. When they got home Meredith carried Bailey inside. Dereks car wasn't there so he left already. "Ok how about we watch toy story" Meredith asked. "Yes please" Bailey said happily. Meredith cuddled up against Bailey and started the movie. About 50 minutes into the movie Bailey got up and ran to the bathroom. Meredith followed him assuming he was going to throw up. Sure enough, Bailey was throwing up. "Aww bails" Meredith said as she walked into the bathroom. Then he threw up again, but Meredith saw something unusual in his throw up. Blood
